Quick and Easy Refrigerant Charge Check with Digital Gauges! SMAN460

In this HVACR Training Video, I show How to Use the SMAN460 Digital Manifold Gauge Set with Temperature Clamps to Check the Refrigerant Charge on an Air Conditioner that has a TXV Thermostatic Expansion Valve as a Metering Device. I show how to Read Superheat and Subcooling to make sure the system is operating correctly. I discuss how to recover freon and add R-22 to charge the unit! Supervision is needed by a licensed HVACR Tech while doing this as Experience and Apprenticeship garners Wisdom and Safety.

Thank you very much for the basic explanation! I have a 360 I used to install a mini-split (built-in micron gauge to see how deep vacuum was). Also used it on my car to vac and recharge the R-134. Next is to check my R-22 units, which is why I watched this video!
