Scripture Passage: Romans 1:24
Scripture identifies marriage as the supreme commitment we make on this earth. Yet in a nation whose new virtue is called “tolerance”, our sense of moral responsibility has been lost. Sexual immorality is socially acceptable, despite the clear instruction in God’s Word to remain pure.
It seems our nation is on the last step on the way down, toward the society Paul warns about in the Book of Romans. In Romans 1:24, Paul warns, “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves…”
We are called, now more than ever, to cultivate healthy marriages and God-honoring homes.
Adrian Rogers says, “It takes a home to raise a child, and it takes homes to make a village, and unless our homes are solid we can have no village.”
Adultery is a sin against one’s self. There is no other sin that will do you more damage spiritually, psychologically, and physically. It is a sin against the home. God established monogamous marriage to meet the deepest emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of the children in the home. The glue that holds the home together is sexual faithfulness.
Adultery is a sin against the church. When a member of a church lives in sexual immorality, he sins against the holy body of Christ.
Adultery is a sin that damages society. No matter how society tries to glamorize it, adultery has destroyed great nations in the past: Rome, Egypt, and Babylon, to name a few. It may be the sin that destroys our nation, as well, because it is a sin against Almighty God.
We must make the decision; bring our failures and sins before Jesus Christ and depend on Him. We have a responsibility to exercise our devotion to Christ and to our families. Let our love develop, cultivate and grow over time, guarding our hearts. We must be disciplined and have control over who or what we let into our lives.
Remain determined. Make up your mind that you will not fall into temptation before it comes.
As Adrian Rogers says, “Revival is not going to come to this nation from the White House, the statehouse, or the schoolhouse; it’s going to come from the church house.”
Apply it to your life
We have a responsibility to remain faithful in our marriages. Remember your decision to depend upon Him, remain devoted, and develop your love for your spouse; stay disciplined and determined.

When Pastor Rogers, when he yelled, ‘Never flirt with another woman, but never stop flirting with your own wife’, I mean I jumped. That is the teaching and stance we need today. He is gone, but Adrian continues to save. I never meant Pastor Rogers, but when I found out who he was, he had already passed. What a phenomenal person he was. God bless his widow, family , and Bellevue.

Yes, this Pastor has gone on to live with the Lord. We still are encouraged by his faithful guidance. Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus, for all of these video’s that are still encouraging us to continue serving you. We need Doers of the word to invest in our Christian families, taking them off all government assistance, teaching them how to invest in their own mom and pops, able to declare the word of God our Creator, without taking bribes from the anti-Christ.

Father God is putting souls in our pathes each day. How will we influence others? Yes Adrian's Sermons are wonderful and he has been my Mentor since 1994 but we must apply these lessons to our daily walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. If Pastor Rogers passed away in November 2005, it might be a good idea to post the date that this was recorded in the links below, in honour of him?

Does that really matter? It’s the message ... God brings you to it. He knows what you need when you need it. Mr. Rogers date of death is irrelevant. Just saying.
What will happen to reprobates who corrupted, controlled and abused other people--and are not repentant?
LWF, please consider just posting these as they are ready as opposed to setting a future time for when they will be available. We love Adrian’s sermons, and I mean no offense, but sermons don’t generate excitement like a movie release, an Apple product event, or some major political announcement. Let me give you an example, I see this scheduled sermon in my list from a CZcams algorithm but I will refresh many times before the “event” and it will fall out of my suggested videos list - I will forget all about it then I’ll stumble on it again in 3 months. I think this is the way it works for the vast majority of people out here in CZcams land.
This world loves not the ways, nor the attributes, nor the things of God! It is no wonder why the Antichrist will easily captivate the world and subdue it, for it is already subdued. The Antichrist is already in control, we are merely waiting for this son of perdition to appear.

Repent while you have a chance. Accept Jesus as your Lord and savior...... I know most will mock, but this is why the Bible said
Ecclesiastes 7:5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
For the fool says there is no God. The byproduct is that same fool returning to his folly, as a Dog to its vomit..
Sounds to me like he is beating up on husbands a little in this sermon. Let me also point out that the wife is there to support her husband as a helper. God created the woman from man for man, and not the other way. Our society in America is ridiculous as far as the amount of money it takes to live, and it takes a lot of hours for a man to work if he doesn't have one of those really high paying jobs, so he is obviously going to have to be away from home a lot working for his family if he is a good man who cares about his family, and that is showing love for his wife as well. So, let's not beat up on husbands for doing what is necessary to provide for their families. I'm not talking about being away from your family working so a husband can avoid his wife or responsibilities in the home. I'm just saying that there is another side to the equation and it must remain balanced as well.

@@flightcrew2715 Amen, brother... I am all for giving godly wives their appreciation but in America it is so easy to throw husbands under the bus and too often it happens that way and that is wrong.
If you catch all Adrian's messages (which, I understand, is impossible because of so many) you will find that he speaks to mothers, wives, children... In this particular message he may be more dealing with men but he can't put the whole of Scripture in one message. He's just telling us things that we sometimes don't see or pay attention to so that we might better our relationship with God and family.
I appreciate every one of Adrian's messages as they come straight out of the Bible, as God's Word to me.
