I am so blessed by your videos. I am eighty one years old and just started to garden two years ago. I also live in a community close to Phoenix, AZ and that should tell you how hot it is here in the summer. My spring plants are all burned up and only the okra and chili plants are hanging on. Because of the heat I am starting my seedlings and keeping them in the house and will put them out after our monsoon weather which can be very destructive to young plants.
With our heat can I start potato and sweet potatoes for the Fall garden?
I learn so much from your analytical approach to gardening. The Lord bless your family.

Hope ya'll have been doing ok. This years Garden so far has been a huge blessing and very productive. I owe some of that to ya'll because I try to follow what ya'll have taught and it seems to work out great. God has truly blessed us with a very fruitful year so far. Out of 4 Tomato plants, we have over 80 tomatoes that are ripe and ready to be picked. NOT cherry tomatoes either, it's big slicing tomatoes that are all averaging 1 1/4 lbs each. The vast Majority of that 80 tomatoes is only on 3 of the plants, because one of the 4 got so big before I could trellis it, the winds broke it down just above it's first set of fruit, and I had to trim off the broken top.
But I just wanted to wish ya'll the best and thank you again for the very informative gardening videos. They really are making a difference in the lives of others. Have a blessed day.

Thank you so. much for helping me become a better gardener. I love your videos and even though I've been gardening for years, I always learn many new things from you. Now that I'm retired and have the time to grow even more of our food, I need to learn how to store it or preserve it. You grow on such a grand. scale... what will you do with all those cabbages and potatoes nd everything else? I know it takes a long time to film and edit each of your videos, but maybe you could tell us a little more about what to do with our bountiful harvest at the end of the videos. I know it would help a lot of people! Thanks, and God bless you both.

Hollis, thank you so much for posting this video ❤️ I do have two questions. How long do you keep the seedling in the smallest container? Do you wait for the roots to be the indicator of transplanting or going out to the garden? And what are the causes for the roots to not grow very well?

I love to grow my food (plant or animal), I enjoy the process of preservation (still not so much with canner), and then feeding my family & friends. I also enjoy sewing... Not as much with Mr Arthur RightUs nowadays. And with patterns so high, clothes can b cheaper to purchase
