    Sounds over processed
    Doesn’t sound like a real amp in a room...
    Well, if we set our ins & outs properly; & are savvy with how we route things I think these Amos are amazing!
    In this video I just want to cover my gain stage from input to outputs so that you’re familiar with this patch if you’re gonna follow the amp deep dive over the next few weeks...
    First half of this vid covers my dry channel & the second half covers wet/dry wet & stereo delays.
    Running wet dry keeps my main guitar from being over processed & if I gain stage right it should sound fantastic...
    Hope you find this of interest, the amp deep dives are to follow for bass & guitar.

    You can set separate input levels for up to 10 guitars. For instance, the DiMarzio Super 3 in my HM strat is super hot so I have it set properly and named. Then, I did the same with my Acoustisonic Jazzmaster and named it Acoustisonic. Now when I switch guitars, I go to the input and tell my GT-1000 which guitar I'm using. I've done that with all my guitars. It only takes a few moments to name them and move on. I highly recommend doing this.

      @planzed463  Před 2 lety

      Hey Ben, hope you’re well! Thanks for checking out this vid & compliment. Yes you can over shorter distances ideally... the XLR is balanced to help limit noise over long distances at venues but for example I’m live looping so I go into a mixer before looper so I run mine this way as I only need to run a meter or 2..
      ...another variable with this will be the country you’re in (as different counties have different electric standards & therefore more or less noise probs - if that makes sense?).
      Can I ask what you’re trying to achieve?

      You should be using XLR/TRS (balanced line level) to go to PA systems...and TS (unbalanced instrument level) to go to amps... If you run instrument level to your PA, the signal will be weak and without headroom... Try it both ways and you will see a big difference...

      @aural_supremacy Před 7 měsíci +1

      You need an amplified speaker either an active speaker or if you insist on using a Marshal cab then you need a power amp, GT1000 is only a preamplifier and multi fx a Preamplifier brings the signal to an optimal level to drive a power amp it’s not meant to drive speakers suggest you sell your cab and by either and FRFR active speaker, a small PA or active studio monitors I am still wondering if you are making a joke because that’s probably why no one has replied.

      In the mono delay block you’ve got control over the effect & direct levels... is your direct level set to zero? If set to zero you will only hear the delay effect of that block, bring the direct level up & you should hear both. Does this help or make sense? If not let me know

      @@jonathanelmore2166 sorry man I can see how I’ve confused you - I shoulda watched the video before trying to answer!! Sorry 🙃
      Delay 1-4 are all mono.
      The master delay has both mono & stereo.
      Checking this vid the trick to this in stereo is to use the 2 dividers to create stereo with a “side chain”
      So you have divider 1 with your stereo amp signal
      Then after that divide use another to split signal again so that channel A has only the amps passing through & B has only the delay when the day’s cider is engaged. Make sure this divide is set to dual at the front & set to stereo in the mixer... I hope this is making more sense!?😬😂
