Epitaph Records is an artist-first indie label founded in Los Angeles by Bad Religion guitarist, Brett Gurewitz. Early releases from a variety of punk heavyweights helped launch the 90s punk explosion. Along the way, Epitaph has grown and evolved creatively while sticking to its mission of helping real artists make great recordings on their own terms.

OMG 2 DAYS AGOOO
Bro 17 years later and I’m still going hard af to this shit like it’s the first time fr 🫡🫡🫡
sadly its my first time and i can tell im going to want tolisten it to the first time again
Same here!
Can I also say this is one of the oldest video in CZcams
It’s crazy to believe it’s been 17 years! I was 17 I’m now 33
Bro I can't believe it was 17 years ago fuck I'm 30 now
2023 and the time has passed, Im now 37 years old, married, father of two. I have a job, a comfortable house and stuff. But I'll never forget that time, when I just wanted to be Ronnie looking for his Juliet, trying to play and sing the REAL ETF. It's a time that doesn't come back, this nostalgia makes me happy for everything we've experienced. Thanks so much Ronnie, thanks ETF. This Chorus will always echo in my heart!
What a great comment. I'm 56 and never even heard of Ronnie all these years, despite all the bands my daughters loved and saw growing up. I only discovered him this year with Watch the World Burn but just saw him live a few days ago and it was the experience of a lifetime. I can only imagine the nostalgia of all those years and congrats on a happy successful life!
Now I feel old, I remember listening to this when I was on the bus to school
I wish I had been a teenager/young adult back when emo was mainstream-ish.
I am now a 31 mother and I am still back here to listen to this song.
we're so fuckin old now..... :((
You may leave emo..... but the emo never leaves you.
It does, but as a statistic. Make up your mind.

No matter what anyone says, no matter the time, that chorus HITS, HARD.
Ronie radke king of chorus
3:33
I mean, it's your opinion, but there are better choruses from other genres, in my opinion, as well.
So yes. No matter what anyone says, your opinion is yours.
@@Dustin_PlattNo one said it's the best chorus in the entire history of music. They just said it slaps which is a fact. Didn't need to compare it or downgrade it just because you like something better.
16 Years later, this track is still amazing, and Ronnie is still Rockin'
They finally gave us an HD of this music video, *THANK GOD*

Lyrics
Hurtful words from my enemies in the last five years
What's it like to die alone?
How does it feel when tears freeze when you cry?
The blood in your veins is 20 below
Sitting in this room, playing Russian roulette
Finger on the trigger to my dear Juliet
Out from the window see her backdrop silhouette
This blood on my hands is something I cannot forget
Sitting in this room, playing Russian roulette
Finger on the trigger to my dear Juliet
Out from the window see her backdrop silhouette
This blood on my hands is something I cannot forget
Something I cannot forget
So for now, take this down a notch
Crash my car through your window
Make sure you're still alive
Just in time to kill you
Sitting in this room, playing Russian roulette
Finger on the trigger to my dear Juliet
Out from the window, see her backdrop silhouette
This blood on my hands is something I cannot forget
Sitting in this room, playing Russian roulette
Finger on the trigger to my dear Juliet
Out from the window, see her backdrop silhouette
This blood on my hands is something I cannot forget
Something I cannot forget
I can't take this (take) anymore
I can't take this (take) anymore
I cannot feel what you've done to me (I can't take this, take, anymore)
I can't take this (take) anymore
What you've done to me
So for now, take this down a notch
Crash my car through your window (window)
Sitting in this room, playing Russian roulette
Finger on the trigger to my dear Juliet
Out from the window, see her backdrop silhouette

Fun fact: To those who don’t know, lord Capulet is head of the Capulet house and he is Juliet's father. That’s why for those who did not noticed in the beginning the gate of the cafe is being shown which is named “Capulets Cafe est 1968”. Yes it’s 2023 and this song is still a banger!

I always look back on these bands. i may have grown out of the whole emo thing, but the music always holds a really special place in my heart.

@midwestcrimecorner my wife's a big swifty and had my kids going down the same path. Glad to be straying them from it. They are starting to ask for other music I like on car rides but for a solid month it was "daddy can we listen to the goofy movie soundtrack" and it makes my heart smile.
I loved this song so much in high school. This and "My Apocalypse" were songs I literally listened to everyday on the bus to and from school. Crazy that 15 years have gone by since then and Im still coming back to these old songs. This whole album will always hold a special place in my heart. To me, early ETF music with Ronnie was the best they've ever released.
I found FIR and ETF early this year, I'm turning 18 and I listen to it on the way to school and back. I wish I was a teen in the 2000's in this era. What was it like? I daydream of it whenever I listen to Ronnie's bands
It was a way better time. The world was full of possibility and if felt like you could be whoever you wanted to be and say whatever you wanted to say. I listened to ETF in high school, my neighbor introduced me to them and I was hooked. I played guitar in a band and thought "if only we could be as cool as Ronnie and ETF! The world is definitely a much different place now, but I often think back to the early 2000s with a big smile on my face. But that's life, we all have our own experiences and you could be feeling the way I felt back then. 18 is a great age, you're just starting your life so make the most of it. The music you listen to will bring you back to a time like a soundtrack to your life \m/
Not me… sitting here at 25 years old, now a mother and wife, singing the emo ballads from my teens at the top of my lungs while I clean house 😂
