I'm in too soft. And that makes me hit the brakes too early. Bad habit I picked up when I was driving cheap logitech pedals. Got too careful with the inputs.
Yeah, same. I always end up bailing out of outbraking moves as a result.
Them G29 brake pedals are so odd

My problem either is initially hard or not releasing enough when starting to rotate into the corner causing lockups

Then there’s me at Watkins Glen in the chicane locking all four tires up, turn in, keep the car straight somehow, mashing onto the gas pedal like it’s nothing at the exit of heel then spinning out at t9 like it’s nothing
Like that your at the track I race race with my league yesterday, I think im the braking to little initially
Quick question when you downshift why do you apply more throttle
I’m both too soft and too hard 😂
But that kinda got fixed when I kinda did what Verstappen does.
He turns down the engine noise and turns up the tyre noise.
It works!
Now I can brake at threshold consistently. I just need to find my braking points again 😂

Is that the old spa? It looks like turn 4 from spa but its kerbs and apexes are different

I do #8 a little bit but not often
My entry to sim racing was f1 games and now assetto corsa competizione so I definitely brake too hard and that costs me when I get to cars or a sim where that’s not the fastest way

I have been all of these and on certain days still am, sometimes all within the same race 😂
11- Using ABS because I'm on controller and this shit's hard 😭
Actually I played more with controller than wheel, and the first time I used ABS was on AC's SLS with the wheel.
Throttle and brake are the simplier axis to setup on a joystick, the hell is the steerring: how much lag, autocorrecting or stiffing style.... this explain why some games leave the chat when there's to talk of gamepads
I soft at 100-50m then hard at 25-15 and get right to hugging the apex
Sometimes the left foot just starts trail braking even if my brain doesn’t want it to
I don’t drive formula cars of even gt3 cars I usually enjoy driving old race cars from the 70s-80s so when driving newer formula or gt cars my braking is always too soft initially due to me not being used to abs or high downforce

Always too soft initially. Takes a few laps to get it right. So hard (for me) on a sim with no deceleration feeling.

I'd say I am mostly "afraid to spill my coffee", but usually end up it on my, as I realize that turning the wheel 120degrees isn't enough, and add a bit more..

Watching a video like this after having talked with a keyboard Shift speedrunner... yeah, WTF, a thing is respecting who can't afford any wheel, but in other cases the fact is that simracing is meant for wheels

Sometimes i’m the to soft braker. But what is good braking. Bc if you gonna analyse pro drivers. They brake soft as well😂they do all of these. Actually everyone

happens, i can pull off a sub 2:20 time at Spa in a GT3 but can't finish a rally stage on dirt rally 2.0 atm
