That is the ultimate chin up bar , love the fact that you can adjust the distance between the handles . Ironmaster delivers again . Thanks for the updates .
Thank you! I am loving it!
You have the only review of the seated press pad im pretty sure
I think so.
Quickly becoming one of my favorite channels for reviews.
I really appreciate that!
As always, great stuff! I think the pull up bar deserves its own review.
Thank you! I thought about it and I could have certainly dedicated more time to it.
Thank you for the reviews, they are really informative
Thank you! It is great to hear they are helpful.
good stuff..IM seems to have a never ending supply of attachments for all their pieces lol..You know their design team is working 24/7..Thanks for the video!!
Hey! Thanks Mike! They continue to put out new and cool things! I’m already looking forward to whatever comes next.
Great review. You have the best ideas.
Thank you! 🙌
Those dumbbell spotting hooks are awesome!
They can definitely be shoulder savers and help to eliminate wasted movement.
Some would have made a few 20 minute videos out of this. I appreciate the efficiency!
Thanks so much, BD!
These are QUALITY!!!!
Thanks so much, Luke!
to bad they don't give u a discount code for ur viewers. gotta say I love both my iron master benches and attachments.
I am trying and, I will keep trying, to get discount codes for all of the companies I work with. I am really glad to hear you like your IM equipment. Thanks so much.
Good stuff
Thanks so much!
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews no worries man. I try and like and comment every video.
@@phatshah7377 that is greatly appreciated!
The pull up bar is the thing I miss the most out the IM2000, I'll defiantly be getting the Pad attachment once they arrive in the UK, would have liked to have seen a deeper review for the pull up bar and the pad.
Hey WA! Great to hear from you. I may expand on them in another video at some point.
i miss the grips on the ironmaster pull-up attachment. I use a straight bar attachment on the Rogue SML2 but it’s not ideal and comfortable. One other kind hack i found was for calf raises using the ironmaster leg attachment. I would load weight on the leg attachment, set up the calf raise block, and basically just grab onto the cushion portions and do standing raises with it. It actually works pretty well
I also like the hammer grip better than a pronated grip.
I’ve done that hack before. You’re right, it works pretty well.
so its been a few month since you got the Seated Press Pad, do you use it for chest supported rows, or is it a pain to setup because you have to stabilise the bench?
Hey! Now the weather is nice, I have not been training in my Ironmaster Gym. With that being said, no matter which bench I use, I still have to stabilize the bench for cable horizontal chest supported rows because the bench will move.
Does the press pad work any better for overhead pressing vs. inclining the bench?
I think it does because the super bench pro is not the most comfortable bench when inclined or upright (mainly because of the seat).
Is the ultimate pull up bar better than the chin pull up bar that you attach to the bench ? Thanks!
Both are good but the ultimate pull up bar has many more adjustments and knurled handles.
is it possible to slide on the dumbbell plates from ironmaster on the ironmaster 2000 or do you have to get the attachment?
It is. You would leave the Olympic Sleeve adapters off and then the Ironmaster Dumbbell plates will work.
Just noticed you don't have the flat connector on the bottom of your IM2000, why is that?
The bench had to roll over it, so it kinda acted like a speed bump. Also, when I use my wedges to squat, the connector didn’t allow the wedges to lay flat. I haven’t noticed an issue with it being off.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews interesting, thanks. I definitely does get annoying rolling the bench over it. Never thought of just removing it. Thanks again for all your great videos.
@@dannyrodriguez5737 thanks so much!
Liked, x5. 💪
Thank you x5!
The paint of the calf block is shiny ? Thx
I describe it as flat black.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews i had this calf block bought many years ago. The the appearance was less smooth.
I had also the dumbells bought 19 years ago Now the plates and the paint seems better ?
@@jmk.3943 I’m not sure without seeing the two side-by-side (I’ve only owned the products they’ve released in the last few years). I think the paint job is good on all Ironmaster products.
Still recommend the calf block?
I do. Mine is still going strong.
I got my ironmaster calf block delivered and I have a doubt… the “ironmaster” branding on yours was added by you, right? Because mine arrived blank on both sides with no branding… I’m confused
@@eheheh3263 correct. I added the plate to mine. The plates are included with their more expensive items but need to be purchased as an add-on for the less expensive items.
Since this video, I would have thought Ironmaster would include it because it makes the calf block easily identifiable.
The Ironmaster dumbbell stand would be the best thing you own. You'll immediately throw those spotter hooks away. I purchased the spotter hooks thinking I could get rid of my bulky iron master dumbbell stand. Nope.
I have the dumbbell stand. I think the spotter hooks are good in certain situations, like overhead press and standing overhead press. I also like how little wasted movement there is starting and ending a chest press. However, with the heavy handle plate kit, the fit is very tight. Sorry to hear you didn’t like them.
My mistake. I thought you said in the video that you did not have the dumbbell stand.
@@youngcouplesparty9006 do you mean the dumbells spotting stand or the Stand the weight plates go on to
The dumbbell spotting stand.
My bad. I do not have the Ironmaster DB Spotting Stand. I have considered getting it, but it would take up a considerable amount of room in the spare bedroom gym. When I’m in the garage, I have a Titan DB stand to lift off then I just drop the DBs on the ground when done. However, the spotting stand does look really good and I am glad to hear you like it.
any fly attachment hacks lol
Not with the bench, but there is a decent fly option with the Ultimate Row Handle, chains, and revolving handles.
My new video i give you a shoutout and link your channel..
Thanks so much, Body Beat Down!
