Ok so I played the american version (the one where Mark is black and Maki is called Mary) and I just finished it and got the SEBEC bad ending even though I wasn't aware that there were ways to end this badly. Does anyone know if the original release of 1996 have a good and bad ending? I read on wikipedia what was supposed to happen (I guess according to the good ending), but I don't have a clue what I was supposed to change to get the good ending in SEBEC, nor did I know that the snow queen route existed. Anyone has an idea about that?
@@yeeeboii2058 I don't know if it exists in the 1996 USA release though... From what I remember, you can't exit the final building in the version I played so you're forced to have the bad ending.
@@tenkin5105 It exists in the 1996 version of the game you talk to the kid Maki and choose the correct choices in the forest before you go to and defeat Kandori one last time. It means you have to play a new game or choose a save file to try to talk to Maki again.
Damn, just finished both arcs and got both good endings. This game is so unforgiving, damn save points are like an hour from the dungeon boss. Well, time to play P2 now.
Musomania27 It can't be the same Nyx. This Nyx is probably just a shadow of the Greek myth since the majority of shadows are created out of humanity's psyche, including our beliefs. Nyx in P3 is a completely different entity who's actually a real supernatural creature in the Persona universe, the incarnation of death itself.
Its not the same nyx but definitely a representation of the greek diety. Nyx is the goddess of night and the mother of Thanatos, Nemisis, and Hypnos. And would you look at that, that’s the name of the towers in the snow queen route
Maki took and locked herself away in that sort of dream world. Which means her consciousness will never return, either she died or will remain in coma till death.
@@troubleshootq In the Playstation original, the bad ending has an FMV sequence showing butterfly form Philemon land on an empty hospital bed for a few seconds then flies away, which strongly implies that Maki died. Plus the music in the FMV is very sad sounding.
MMM.. I played the american version of this game, and I gotta say, it was a little bit racist what they did to mark. He was the troublesome one and now I get why they made him afro.
@@Nainco07 I mean I get why people play revelations. It's because of the atmosphere of the game being dark and while I do like that aspect. The PSP version is just better in almost every way.

@@tenkin5105 The choices to get the good ending happens when you talk to the kid version of Maki in the forest. (This only the SEBEC Route.)

I love the little detail in SEBEC's bad ending where Mai is flat out named Maki now.
Do you get the choice to use Ellen, alana, or uesugi in this version? I'm pretty sure they have their own ending descriptions as well.
You can have any one of those three as well as Reiji for the 5th party member in the Sebek quest.
