    Less air in the tire.. I think it can go quite low... 4lbs..
    Also, the bikes come lean off the manufacturing. That pipe is very restrictive.
    Buy a DG with silencer and high air flow filter. Adjust the main jet on the carb by unscrewing it 2.5 turns.
    It's probably only .5 open.
    Makes a huge difference.

      I will be trying it again. I have been running it at 3lbs now on everything. So stay tuned I'm heading back one of these days. I drilled holes in my stock muffler and airbox for more airflow

    The most impressive part of this video is the unrelenting support of your family. That is worth more than any summit. But apart from that, stand on the pegs. Balance is your issue.

      I definitely am a family man and they enjoy hanging out with me. I'm blessed that they enjoy hanging with me lol. It's such loose gravel it's hard balancing going in first gear that slow but overall I will try again soon

      What a beast that bike would be with a real motor.
      Ive seen some guys on yt that have geared them way down make some very impressive climbs. I didnt think a bike could climb that well so slowly, but it can.

    Sprocket ratios are too fast for your size and the steepness of that hill. I live in the mountains and do much steeper hills than that. Second issue, STAND UP!!
    Tire pressure might also be too heigh.

    • @Squarebodyshelley
      @Squarebodyshelley  Před 2 lety

      Everyone keeps telling me to stand up. Standing up is not the issue. I tried it. Standing up made it worse. However It's also the loose gravel. I believe I could make it if it was dirt.

      @@Squarebodyshelley here on my farm we have loos rocks from as small as gravel pebbles up to the size of baseballs. Made the mistake once to sit down and lost both front shocks.
      But as they say, each bike/rider/terrain combo is unique and you have tondo what works for you.
      Can say one thing though, never met a hill that the TW can’t climb. Only limiting factor is traction and me, the rider.

      Oh I tried. Not easy climbing that hill and keeping it in the rut at slow speeds lol. Motor definitely had enough power but no yes traction helps. I will keep trying. I will try it on my KLX250 as well

    • @Squarebodyshelley

      I tried standing and it seemed to loosen the rear traction as I wasn't directly on the rear wheel. Plus it wore my arms out more trying to hold on

      @ronfox5519 Před 2 lety +1

      It will help a bunch with traction, and a bit with gear ratio.
      That said, the lower psi you go, the more the bike sloshes around side to side. And of course, you have a bigger chance of tire/ wheel damage.
