I am from Germany, watch primarly the Bundesliga. Joelinton has everything a striker needs. I think his style suits the PL really good, being a tall, physically strong striker. BUT :D
Since he has been at Hoffenheim he was loan out the first 2 years and just played his first season in the bundesliga. 7 goals + 7 asssists in 28 games that he played is good but nothing special.
Hoffenheim last season with Schulz at LWB and Kaderabek RWB really had the perfect to wing backs for crosses into the box and with Demirbay as a cam or amiri as a cam he really had players playing with him that are heavily focused on assisting and still he "only" scored 7 goals.
Yes he is young and seems to have great potential but 44 milion euros is a big price for him.
I think hoffenheim soled firminho for basically the same amount of money. I know the market prices changes a bit in those couple of years, but firmino really was exciting to watch and everyone knew he would be great. I dont see that in Joelinton.

Hello to everybody im a Rapid Vienna fan. Joelinton played for us 2 years ago. He will be a flop just saying. I dont know how he is ever worth 40 million. In austrian Bundesliga he scored i think 5-7 goals in 1 season. He was a striker and played every game. Dont expect to much of him. He is strong but he is so bad at shots. I still wish you and him good luck.

How do you know what game he has done a good skill move or a good ball. You surely don’t go through every game in the Bundesliga? What website do you use to find out when he has done something well on the pitch?
Watch the same video but for Pérez. They look about on par (as per these videos). He is a replacement for Pérez but nothing more. It’s not an additional signing, it’s just replacing ONE of our two goal scorers that we lost.
If we are to survive the drop this year then we need to also bring in one more 20-40m striker, a midfielder of significantly quality, as well as a winger and right back.
Ritchie works his ass off, he deserves a place in the squad for that alone and his crossing ability but we have no one to play on the other side. Atsu or Murphy? Hawey, they’re both useless, championship quality.
Right back, Yedlin has his moments going forward (mainly due to his pace) but he gives the ball away far too often and defensively he is left wanting time and time again.

Moves a lot like Perez and definitely more of a number 10 than a 9 always seems to be very deep collecting the ball like Perez did but I agree we need a few more decent signings especially in the midfield

Been awful so far for the most part. Showed patches of his potential but really needs to lift if he’s going to cut it in the premier league. Often too slow to move the ball on, just gets it caught in his feet. PL teams defensively are lot more aggressive and I don’t t think he’s been able to handle/adapt to it yet

In the season 17/18 or in other words 2 years ago he played for a loan of 500 thousand for Rapid Vienna where he made 15 goals and 6 assists in the Austrian league = that´s just avarage for a striker in the Austrian league because the Austrian top scorers make round about 25 goals per season.... and now he costs 35 Mio ??...that´s simply crazy..he is not bad no doubt but for sure not that good to justify such an amount..just saying...he just made 7 goals and 7 assists last season in the German league for Hoffenheim....or in other words there was no performance-explosion of him but he stayed on his level... And the German league is as twice as good as the Austrian league so therefore he made just the half amount of goals..and I´m Austrian and I saw him week for week play and I also watched the german league regulary so therefore I know exactly his cababilities (he always needs 3-4 very good chances for 1 goal and I truely hope for you that you will get lots of high-class chances to score against your opponents that he can score at least one time)..and never ever I would pay 35 Mio for him..Sorry to say that...but I simply couldn´t believe that someone is paying 35 Mio for him....and in such "advertisment-vlogs" like this you never see the missed goal - chances of the shown player.
