First pre-chorus when they're supposed to sing "I'm still in love with you", Carl very loudly sings the version from the second verse instead, "all these words they intrude"... and looks at Pete pointedly, like he's trying to Jedi mind trick Pete into not saying the "in love" version... but Pete sings the original lyrics anyway. So good. And then the second time around when they are actually supposed to sing "all these words they intrude" Carl is glaring at Pete like he's afraid he'll repeat that he's still in love with him. Ahahahaha
So emotional. In the first comeback from the libertines , they(or just carl) didnt either sang "im still in love with you" part. Probably in all the 2010 concerts. After 2015, sometimes they exchanged those parts. Its sad. Carl didnt feel like singing that part back then probably cause he didnt mean it , but pete will always mean it.
I hope singing the words to this song only remind them now of how much they missed their friendship after the split up of the band. Hopefully the guys have to feel as much as we do.... the magic of the LIBERTINES is still there - if not stronger than ever! After all they've been thru, they can come together and whip out a show like that... WOW ... they can have it ALL if they want it!
