  • Nigeria is facing its worst economic crisis in decades, with skyrocketing inflation, a national currency in free-fall and millions of people struggling to buy food.
The crisis it says is largely believed to be rooted in two major changes implemented by a president elected 15 months ago: the partial removal of fuel subsidies and the floating of the currency, which together have caused major price rises.
It adds that punishing inflation means poverty rates are expected to rise still further this year and next, according to the World Bank.
But Presidency disagrees. It says the report, based on several interviews, was all gloom and doom, as it never mentioned the positive aspects in the same economy as well as the ameliorative policies being implemented by the central and state governments.

According to Bayo Onanuga, cost of Gari is coming down in Ogun State, and I add " Like the NGN against the USA Dollars". 1 step forward, 2 steps backward! Gain 10naira and then lose 20 naira.

Is it not time for the South West to see that their weakness is what they are covering by one Nigeria. Their inferiority is what makes them hook to one Nigeria with propaganda. From the current prophet of Umuezumezu

This man is fair to both government and Nigerians admitting we are going through hardship. But we just need to tell them to hastens up measure that will reduce the hardship. Since more wage awards let have the minimum wage as quickly as possible for cry out loud

Bayo Onanuga is one of the biggest Liability in the PBAT regime.
If a survey is to be carried out on Nigerians including the traditional south west population where PBAT enjoys support, Bayo Onanuga will be requested to resign.
He is the dedicated " Attack Dog " of PBAT.
He is currently likened to Lai Mohammed.
