like i said feel free to send in your own footage and i'll try to help you or leave a comment if you need any additional help! would be more than happy to help people improve. there are inevitably a few editing mistakes so please be gracious with me LOL, at least there's less than in the survival project. honestly, i'm impressed with how fast i managed to make this. took not that much time at all. although i guess that's how it goes when it's just me making it and i don't have to wait for schedules to align 43 times and hope roach feels like hopping on that tuesday or i wait another week. the thumbnail is a commission from @hunnybe4r, be sure to check them out. - Hry
Flexing using the second most overpowered character is cringe. You get zero terror radius and get an instant down when stalking. Yeah…. You’re so good😂 ever wonder why you have more kills than otz? Because no one wants to play ghost face that much because he’s a no skill like Micheal. Keep flexing tho, thats why you’ll never succeed.

Nice try trolling. Ghostface is an m1 killer. Check your skills

THIS is why i love DBD. Its the dedication of the fanbase. Arianad wrote a 200 page book with video course supplements on how to play Clown and this absolute legend made a 8 hour masterpiece on how to play ghostface. Only Elder Scroll Modders and 2B2T players are in this tier with us.
I need a Cenobite and Myers Guide aswel, I can pay if needed 🗣🗣🗣
as a GF main I will happily watch a 7 hour guide, you can always learn a little more.
maybe after watching it if you know something i didn't include you can let me know.
I read that as "... as a [Girlfriend] main..."

I wish I also mained my girlfriend... if I had one :(

thank you so much for taking the time to do a 7 hour guide! i have recently bought ghostface and was searching for vids to help me get better at him so i really appreciate this guide
of course, im glad you like it!! if you need more help I do free VOD review!
aww thats so nice of you, i'll remember for the future, and i subbed to u :)@@mousemallow8297
Another very important thing about Ghostface that needs to be mentioned is the cosmetics! Some of the cloaks make a lot of sounds while others are silent. This makes it a lot easier to sneak up on survivors since there is no audio cue!
true, I actually have every cosmetic for him for fun but I don't want to advertise the cosmetics in just how to play the character
is that so?? i feel like theyre all relatively the same noise lvl... i think what matters more is the inclusion of the floating tassels contributing to better stealthiness. its a shame how some of the cooler skins have pieces that stick out and clip through walls and blow your cover :(
@@emiiiiiiii No some really make more noise than others! All of them make these flappy noises that survivors can hear when Ghostface is close, except Brush Hunter (Old Rift) and Icebound Phantom. They are completely silent!
I creep slow when close to them 😮 so they don’t hear skr skr skr 😂😂
Heavily underrated. Good job on the guide man. I can tell it took a TON of work.
thanks bro, let me know if you need any addition help
bro wtf this is so high quality. thanks so much
I hope you like it! if there's any questions let me know.
if you want extra advice, upload your ghostface game play to CZcams and send it to me on discord or Twitter and I'll vod review it for free!
mother's dwelling and garden of joy just got nerfs announced like the day after i rendered this all but the maps arent out yet so idk
What I love about Ghostie is that he rewards patience. If you can take it slow, and keep from getting revealed too much, taking out your targets one by one is a piece of cake. You can catch them off guard in the early game, and if you can keep up the pace, it snowballs very quickly.
This is nuts man, I started playing a couple months back after owning the game for a while and have mained him from the start. By far one of the most enjoyable killers to play and really rewards good skill/outplaying people.
This guide is insane and I can't wait to chunk through it, cheers in advance for when I finish it lmao, I can't wait for more of your content to be released
thanks bro! glad you liked it
I started playing this game with the Ghosty… And damn he's good, I shall say after all.
He's iconic, funny, silly, very strategy-rewarding, considerably skill and brains dependant, both appreciated and unloved within the game's community, and, nonetheless, despite everything, may appear fairly weak (which is partially true, but only adds to the thrill during the trial) - so cool for an M1 stealth killer that he made me love this game after I bought and played him for quite a long while.
And holy Jesus, 7 HOURS of guide for him IS something, indeed. I think if we transform everything u've said through the whole video into text, we'll have a whole 100+ pages guide for the Ghostface (just like we have it done by some enthusiast for the Clown). It's a lot, a lot of work, I can't even imagine what u've gone through to record and edit this huge piece of information.
thanks bro, I'm glad you enjoyed it! the script for the video actually was about 25 pages, I tried to hurry through the maps and didn't break down each tile just since I don't consider those tiles too ghostface related and more general m1 skill, but I may do a video on it
@@mousemallow8297 hey jus curious, do you script then read word for word or do you bullet point then speak loosely on the subject? Great content man!
@@chopsuey004 usually I just wing it but for this one I used a mix of both scripting and bulleting
This video was a great watch! Loved the info.
This is truly wonderful, my eyes have been opened on what I should do to better my gameplay. Thanks dude
Excited to dive into this . Had to subscribe. You’re almost to 1k that’s dope
this. is. so. COOL !!! thank you so much for this?! this is such a complete and amazing guide. ive always had a soft spot for ghostface as a character and been wanting to play him, just havent been able to put a playstyle into place.
i'll definitely give him more tries, this helped a ton. thank you!❤
thank you for the kind words!
Great vid, and in 3 minutes you have so much easy to absorb info.
I myself hate playing Ghostface, but love Myers so maybe I can do a shift to even Pig someday with guides like these.
This video was so helpful! I went from struggling to stalk one person to being able to regularly 99ing survivors for an easy down later. Thank you for this guide!!
that's great man, I'm glad you liked it!
I've been playing Ghostface since I bought the game (the reason I bought it) and I'm a Ghostface main. I really love this and appreciate this extensive guide. Thank you!
Thank you, your guide helped me a lot!
This is amazing and duly appreciated. This is THE in-depth guide that I'm looking for. I'm still watching it and I'm learning tons. Hope you get more subs, my dude, you deserve it!
thanks bro, I'm glad you like it!
I’m at prestige 100 Ghostface and this guide is so good. I learned some things that I didn’t even know
Gotta like for the work you put into this.
Worth to watch! Definitely one of the best guides thanks bro! Subscribed and liked the video already
thanks bro! im glad you liked it
as a ghostface main, even this helped me learn things i’d never thought would be a factor in my games !! also aside from the point, your voice is insanely soothing
My go to combo is surveillance, Surge, and Gearhead. The 4th slot I can change around like add ruin or pain res for additional gen pressure. Rapid Brutality, STBFL, or Friends till the end to assist in chases (Friends till the end of I’m chasing the obsession).
this guide was a godsend! i’ve played ghostie on and off since his release, and he’s who i was immediately drawn to after playing again after a long break. your perk breakdown helped me out a ton for making a decent build
I'm glad you liked it bro!
Thank you so much for this video man! I've had more fun as killer now than I've had in a long time! Owned ghostie for a while and was too scared to play him in fear of being stomped but now I get multiple gen grabs and ambushes! You really inspired me to finally give him a try and I'm very thankful I found your video. This video was exactly what I needed to remember what I loved about playing killer!
im glad you enjoyed it bro!
I really like your voice. You're informative and sound like a very sweet gentleman. Thanks for the tips!
What a nice guide! Thanks ❤❤
Insanely well done ,you can feel all the time and love that was put into this massive video and that’s the most impressive part. Thank you very much for creating such a masterpiece!
I'm glad you liked it!
Good lord, a 7hr video on how to play Ghostface pops up in my feed. This looks interesting.
Reminds me of the one guy who made an entire long guide on how to play The Clown.
i havent played since conehead dropped that was like 4 years ago and i just got back on it and trying to get better again as a killer and ghostface has been my fav killer in horror films and omg you helped me so much with this 7 hours vid thank you for the intertainment and tips :)
I am in the top 20° Ghostface too bro, and your guide is amazing. New ghostface players needed a complex guide like yours, now they have it! xD
exactly my thoughts, getting into him is too punishing so new players often don't and then we get stuck playing against blights all day. glad you enjoyed
Insane. Will watch it fully one day.
Subbed.
hope you enjoy!
Just finding this video and I'm pretty new to the game especially as killer, I absolutely WILL BE WATCHING ALL OF THIS! I really wanna pick up GF especially my only killer experience is on Legion and Wraith. thank you!
almost 500 hours on DBD and most are me playing Ghostface. It felt really satisfying to hear someone who clearly played a lot of GF as well and affirm some of the stuff I've learned through trial and error. Some of the live commentary we were sharing the exact same thoughts. Think I'm gonna get back into DBD after watching all 7 hours of this lol. Cheers from another Ghostface fanatic.
glad you liked it!
Keep doing what you're doing! On the rare chance I play survivor i never see a ghostface let alone a good one. I'm a hard judge when I get one too lol. One of the most fun killers Imo (then again I also play pig). We need more GF mains out here tbh. Interesting to see some of the new xenomorph perks/maps come into play. New map doesn't look too bad seeing as you can stalk from the ship. Gonna test this out in game. cheers!! @@mousemallow8297
Just bought GF when he got on Sale and I am so glad i found this guide and your channel, you have earned many likes and a new Subscriber.
Only 40 minutes in, and im already really impressed with your gameplay. You're the kind of GhostFace I aspire to be.
This has been my favorite killer to play! Crazy glad this guide popped up
I hope you like it bro!

Wow. The dedication in this community is truly something very special. Ty for this.
Oh wow, thanks for this. I love playing survivor against him snd i also love playing him. Im new to the game only 2 weeks playing so haha
that's great! a big reason of why I made this is because I'm tired of playing against blight and honestly wanted to face more ghostfaces as well LOL, if you need any more tips let me know!
@@mousemallow8297 exactly! I want to face more of them aswell! I mostly get farm bots or The Plague lately.. its been annoying haha. I just want a good killer 😮💨 and when I play killer I want good survivors, not trolls with flashies
also i see you havent posted much else about dbd or ghost face, would love to see more man! or if we could play together! @@mousemallow8297
Hope you enjoy the game and get to play many Ghosties in the future!

Wow, such a good and in depth guide 👏 really helped me with ghostface thanks for making this.
I'm glad you liked it!
Good guide! I'm a demo main but ghostface is my second go to killer 😊
Thanks man my main problem with Ghostface was not knowing the best perk builds
Glad to know though that I had the right idea of how to play him thankfully!
regardless thanks man it helped alot!
now to grind bloodpoints until the heat death if the universe.
glad you enjoyed it man! if you need any more tips let me know.
@@mousemallow8297 I guess than ill ask the question of what might you advise for me to go for in terms of perks as a rather aggressive Ghostface player like myself who prefers to jump the survivors as quickly as I can and wants to prevent myself from needing to prioritize gens as much
What perks (and the killers I may need to prestige) should I go for
Wow that’s insane, you’re goated
thanks bro, glad you liked it!
dawg at 37:50 i was waiting to see if there would be a message in chat but you alt tabbed and i was like wait a minute i think i see something, so naturally i was snoopy asf and slowed the video down to check and I see you're listening to the GOAT Jane Remover! W vid so far, W music taste lmao
Bro this is an insanely good guide! Thank you for this! I can tell it all comes from an expert of Ghostie too by the quality of the information.
thanks bro! glad you liked it
great guide my G (cuz ghostface, get it?) i love playing ghostface (even tough i only have 300 or so hours) and this guide is awesome, i'll save it and watch it several times
great vid man, im always glad to see people using ghostface as a prep killer. thats what he really is at the highest level.
as someone whos played ghostface for 3 years now and am currently at 15k marked downs i have things ill mention (just my opinions and experience with the killer)
sloppy and nurses is very unreliable to use against good players. the reason people heal is out of fear of insta down. but good players know that you'll 99 them and instead position themselves on gens which you can't approach. you always want people to heal so that they're caught off guard with the insta down rather than predicting it. I don't agree with the whole hit and run playstyle. but it is something that you can benefit from most games just due to the average skill you'll come across. (still boring though)
positioning is extremely important as ghostface. especially at the start of the game. corrupt gives you a better chance of catching the whole team 99 at the start. maps like ormond or institute are great start of the game maps just due to the fact you can stalk people from a high vantage point. without corrupt your chances of getting 3 or 4 99s at the start is pretty small (as long as the survivors are aware).
lethal pursuer isn't something id personally recommend because it is a 1 time use and spawns can often be predicted pretty well without it. using discordance can help you to infer the survivor spread you get most of the time. whispers + discordance and you have info that you will get at any point in the game guaranteed. because when either of them are off that is info in itself. i cant overstate how reliable and helpful it is to not have to make your entire way to a gen to know its unoccupied. it also helps a lot to know the time limit you have to stop a gen.
I agree with surge being a good perk on ghostie. he is a snowball killer so he benefits immensely with regression that is tied to downs. it can be less impactful than others but benefits your power more since you wont have to go up to a gen and be seen or risk a blast mine etc.
make it your goal every game to only lose your power by getting downs. you have to strike a balance between time efficiency and positioning, its not always possible but try your best.
try to stalk your unhooks. as ghostface getting people hooked sequentially can singlehandedly win you the game. and if you arent stalking your unhooks you will split hooks unintentionally. while waiting for unhook you can look down and look back up to start the stalk once you know you can stalk both people. it is about 2 seconds after the unhook animation starts. they wont be able to hide before you get it. that way you also get both people exactly the stalk progress you want instead of one half and the other full.
stalk circle manipulation seems kind of daunting but its incredibly useful, it makes hook stalking even more useful since you can get someone in a heal 99 while avoiding exposing the other person if theyve been stalked before. just go from the edge of your screen slowly inwards. eventually you get a feel for where the point of stalking begins and you get faster. it can also be done looking up or down. its literally just an oval shape on your screen.
my build consists of whispers discordance surge and corrupt. i think it strikes the perfect balance between slowdown and info that is tailored towards your power.
the cool thing about ghostface is you can play him however you want, this is the playstyle ive settled on after the countless games i've played as ghostface. but the strongest / most reliable way he is played is always in a way that has no input from the survivors. you dont want them knowing your plan until its too late.
when the stars align and you execute things perfectly its the most fun you'll have as killer. i promise :)
you're right about most of this, but the guide IS tailored to new players who are likely facing players they can get value out of nurse's + sloppy form. whispers is also a good perk, i do recommend it in the video for people who don't want to pay money for nemesis to get lethal, which i prefer over whispers because my playstyle involves max aura reading and no slowdown which ofc gets the buff from lethal. most of what you said i covered which is good. whispers also gets around distortion, but i still prefer lethal tbh.
however please remove the twitch plug man i wanna keep this comment up because its helpful and thought out but i dont want the self promo in here :(
@@mousemallow8297 i didn't want to self promote, sorry about that. i linked it for clips that related to the stalk circle and stuff i talked about, it should be gone now.
in my opinion its best to learn ghostface without the training wheels. sloppy and nurses, as well as addons like philly and matchbook can lead to undervaluing your power. people who have learned him when recovery was still 30 seconds get an incredible amount of use out of their power. i dont like the idea of hitting someone and being without a down or a power for even as long as 20 seconds. you dont ever learn preparation or positioning when you're encouraged to do things that make you wait the recovery period. imo if people want to learn how to develop their skillset they need to subject themself to some truly hard matches. which i totally get why some people dont want to go through that.
ghostface is a killer im passionate about so I like to share my point of view when i can. anything to get people to the skill level they want to be at, instead of hitting a skill ceiling they put too low for themself.
I watched most of the guide section but not all of it so apologies if i repeated anything you stated.
it's totally fine, i'm just as passionate! hence why i really didn't want to have to remove the comment, i could tell you put effort into it! i remember it being 30 seconds and then you had to use pen+journal to get it down to 24, now base is 20 and you get 14 with one addon. all those pens i saved up became worthless lol. honestly, i don't consider them to be training wheels just because they aren't preparing to play with the 30 second timer. yes some addons can get more value in certain situations but those two get such consistent value and they're common enough to have essentially unlimited. i don't want to tell about how it was "Back in My Day" and make them play like i did because the truth is that these changes and new addons opened up quite a few new tricks that you can do and you CAN afford to use a power or two aggressively. i did my best to include builds and chase tricks for more intermediate to advanced level ghostfaces with things like play with your food and some ghostface only shack mindgames@@nova-sh3mk
you did repeat a good bit of it but that is imo a good thing! it's just evidence that two separate ghostfaces can arrive at the same conclusion which more validates our ideas than discredits them.@@nova-sh3mk

As a (p100) ghostface it's always good to learn more 👍
They really do need to make it so that if Ghostface can see a survivor he can mark them. It’s frustrating when you’re looking at a survivor through something they can reveal you through, but you for some reason cannot mark them.
his reveal mechanics need some work on both sides majorly but i doubt they will ever really fix it, it would be a massive technical accomplishment if they could
..7 hours? holy shit haha. definitely watching all of this. thanks for your hours, or probably days of time put into this video!
I hope you enjoy it!
ive been absolutely adoring
Save the best for last
play with your food
rapid brutality
batteries included
drop leg knife sheath
philly
full speed build, it feels sooooo good to be super fast as ghostie, whilst also being stealthy and able to 1 shot marked survivors
recently i made a video on a very similar build to this, i use devour or NOED over Rapid and instead of STBFL i use Coup, which is hilarious because lunge distance is based on movement speed and so to spam movement speed then have an extra 80% lunge on top of it is absolutely ridiculous
No intention of ever maining Ghostface, great video and info. 2 hours in and still having fun watching.
well, i'm glad you liked it!
this is some Otz level of dedication to dbd
Omg, this is amazing. The way I'm boutta go crazy with ghost face after this
thanks, i'm glad you liked it!
I may be Rusty with ghostface but i still got it and i was hoping you tell me everything going to be okay when main ghostface.
Crow map is so good though. Tall wall loops everywhere for stalking in chase. Stalk from top of building. Best of all is the gen in the building where you can assassins creed people on the gen.
that one gen is a nice part, but the 3 walls you have to kick, the consistently safe fillers, the map being so bright, the tiles often connecting, it far outweighs that one cool play with the gen imo
Very impressive work my friend.
thank you! i'm glad you liked it.
i guess this just must be the real ghostface because what the actual fuck
i love this so much and will be watching the whole thing amazing video
can't wait to finish watching this guide in 2024!
see you then
As a P68 Ghostface with 3k hours I must say that using the second most overpowered character is based because you get zero terror radius and get an instant down when stalking. Ever wonder why you have more kills than otz? Because some dont deserve to play ghost face that much because he’s a skill based killer like Micheal. Keep flexing tho, that's why you’ll succeed.
You sir are awesome
Best explanation and guides for Ghost feac, im artist main but really enjoyed Ghost feac Even if I don't know its best uses of his power And instead of that I prefer Use him as Chase killer. Thank you ❤
glad you liked it!
thx❤
np!
man plays so much ghost face he talks the same way GF talks I kept expecting him to say what's my favorite scary movie. love it
that is flattering
Dont normally watch Guides but this was great, as a ghost face main.
Love the "nice build" and then you just dookie on a whole team 😭😭😭
Ive been looking towards the gen regression and how it could compliment other perks?
Normally I run Obession builds.
"Friends till the end, Furtive Chase" For the main bit of the Obession. Then add in "Dark Devotion" for the free undectable and when you transfer the terror radius to the obession it gives you some more time to work. Then "Surge" for when you force them in the direction of gens.
Which is good for when you're keeping pressure. Then for add-ons i use "Drivers License" and "Philly". For the 20% gen damage and block. Then you can catch the survive near it for another 8% or more if there are others.
Just needs a bit more skill for when you got sweats and Gen Jockeys.
I do need some more builds though for "Lethal Pursuer"
(Dunno if anyone may respond but if someone does. Id love to hear more builds 🥲)
Keep up the good work.👍
I like furtive and dark devotion, super fun perks but they just don't do much for Ghostface unfortunately. I personally don't have any problems with needing more stealth so I find them redundant. drivers license is a cool design but I find it doesn't get as much done in practice. I'm a big aura lover LOL if you haven't you gotta try darkness revealed. on maps where ghostface is scary like midwich, lerys, hawkins, its EVEN BETTER and super fun.
for a long time my most used build was
Lethal + BBQ + Floods + Darkness
Outdoor Camera + Address Book
@mousemallow8297 I just dropped a 4k on 2 p25 Survivors and a p9 and p14. One rage quit 😭😭
Edit: Same here on the Aura. Tbh, but the Obession builds man I'm telling you. Dark Devotion is good for mind games. Especially when you trigger it when they protection save(situational). They'll think you ran away or broke chase when you just flanked and pretended to lose them.
I try not to go for perks that have cooldowns, however. I'm a very aggressive player with GF. So when I'm going in for the kill or to trigger the perk I need it consistently. Because I'm moving from gen to gen mid chase as well. Not kicking unless it's like 75%. Because I try to keep them all busy. The less they know where I am the more they're focused on when I'm going to catch them. Make them multi task more than they need too. That's what I go for.
@@clydefloyde1327 well, I don't kick gens either. I just don't need to in public matches
The irony, I'm in the middle of making a comprehensive gf guide, myself lol. I'm only at 1600 hours though, but great to see a fellow p100 ghostie!
I play a more macro oriented style, with Iri cam or Floods (depending if I want to use the better and more costly add-on method or the passable but weaker perk version). Treat every Cam/Floods proc as another Lethal, so you prep 2/3 99 marks and take a convenient down. Iri cam is more proactive (can cut off the best rescuer), but Floods is more reactive (typically only giving you intel of 1 person, as you know 2 are under hook and 1 is probably being stalked/chased by you). When you are going for this macro build, you want them to heal, because the 32 Survivor seconds (16 each) isn't equal to the 5s or 2.5s leaned it takes for you to re-99, so encouraging healing is gen slowdown for you. Also since you are near exclusively getting 1 hit downs (marked or injured), this makes Coup highly valuable, as each Coup stack is essentially 1 hook state, and they only have 12, and its quite easy to.
With the macro build, my core is Lethal Pursuer/Coup de Grace. The 3th perk is a comfort perk, like for me Bamboozle to prevent god windows like Garden's Kitchen window from tilting me. The 4th perk is a freebie with Iri Cam (so I usually use Pain Res), or Floods for the Floods build. As an aside, I find Olsen's Journal (Oblivious while marked) to be an amazing filler add-on, as you mark someone to pressure them away from hook, and mark another and down them when they go for the rescue. After you hook the 2nd would be rescuer, you use the Iri Cam or Floods proc to hunt down the marked Surv mentally afk on a gen, or the 4th actually useful person who got the unhook/is attempting the unhooks now.
Also I find Driver's License (Marked on a gen explodes and blocks it) to be mostly a meme add-on. You only need the regression against people who are aware enough to not do gens in your LOS, so you never get it in the matches where you need it. There was 1 rare scenario against the people you need it against, and that is when chasing Survivor A in LOS of 99'd Survivor B on a gen. If you take the time to pop the 99 and continue chasing Surv A, it *sometimes* can be valuable.
I personally dislike STBFL on Ghostie, because if you are playing a STBFL playstyle, you are better served by picking Pig instead. Its like going for crossmap snipes with Trickster, just pick Huntress instead, same with Ghostie and STBFL, with Pig being the better option.
I play like this mostly whenever I'm not recording, I run floods + Lethal + BBQ + darkness revealed with cam and address book. I only like STBFL because of current endurance meta and because it punishes survivors who are cohnterplaying you (taking hits for marked survs, taking hits to remove their stalk), and you only lose 2 per down from hitting a marked obsession. if you use SBTFL consistently you will find the better the survivors the more value it gets, I promise.
also, I do talk about the drivers license. you're right, it's too inconsistent. it's super strong on paper but rarely procs
@@mousemallow8297 I get the concept of endurance countering for STBFL, but most times it feels like too early of a mark if someone else even has that opportunity to block. Also it kinda goes back to my first thing with Healing as slowdown versus the quick mark 99. They also run the risk of giving a hit when you never progressed their mark, so as long as you aren't openly stalking as Ghosty, they (ideally) shouldn't know they are 99'd.
Also yeah I saw the meme 'oops all auras' build at 58:42, and while it can be fun, I like to go a little more varied. A built that dedicated to one facet loses my interest after a match or two.
As far as Driver's License, I like the design as a purple. Its fun to have gimmicky purples (like Blight's skillcheck within 16m or undetectable while rushing), its just a shame it almost is *too* gimmicky and rarely usable. At least as a purple it is rare enough you don't stock up on worthless add-ons, and can always have enough for those gimmick matches.
I just hope in the future they adjust some add-ons to give more buffs/debuffs on Marked downs. It just seems silly that only 1 add-on actually rewards you for playing Ghosty correctly (by downing Marked targets). I think a lesser Gift of Pain on marked down, a shorter Thrilling Tremors on Marked down, a single-gen (no distance limit) Jolt on Marked down, and a lesser Furtive Chase proc (maybe only the haste for 12s?) on next Hook after a Marked down would all be good future add-ons.
@@mizark3 as nice as it would be if we all could mark when we want, sometimes you've just got to get it before you're revealed. the better people you play against, the more often. mmr is kinda nonexistant right now so it's basically just an insurance policy. slight sidenote, I also just find it satisfying to be honest.
I'd like some more gimmick addons too but I think first they need to overhaul Nemesis and Pyramid Head then gut blight's addons. they've proven they somehow can't handle all that at once so I know better than to expect
@@mousemallow8297 Agreed on PyrHead+Blight, but I honestly feel Nemmy is alright at the moment. He is still easy enough to win with Deadlock as the only slowdown in the majority of my matches, and I don't even play him beyond for dailies or variety.
As far as MMR, I'd say SWF is far more influencing than individual skills of opponents. Being called out (rewatching streamer's VODs to see when it happened) shows you how painful it is to have the enemy know when and where you are approaching from. Although like you said, MMR is so lax that it is functionally useless for anyone who actually has gotten over the initial hump of 'getting good'. Its all too easy to has a positive win rate as Killer due to the poor matchmaking.
i`m giving this game a second try, and this will be very helpful! Thanks for the video
Good luck!
It’s funny, for such a complex killer to become good at, ghostface really comes down to just keep stalking. Legit if you have at least theee people 99nd you can almost win the game playing that right
I feel like they should add a new mechanic for ghost face specifically for leaning that is similar to rainbow six siege’s leaning so his leaning is not based on the server.
i think that would make it a bit too strong since you could lean at any point and make your stalk 5x faster on command, so the lean speed would need to be reduced which would suck and at that point just invalidate a non-leaning stalk. it used to be client side so leaning was more consistent but they made it server side which broke a lot of stuff.
-Me enjoying another day Rocking and Stoning
-See DbD has Chucky on the way
-I immerse myself back into the depression/cringe pool of the community to see what’s going on
-Realize that there are nuts like yourself still playing this game
-Watched the full video length because of your dedication
-will now forget all of this information and continue to play the Clown
I usually play licensed killers over the originals, so when I started I saw myself playing Myers and Ghostface a lot and being garbage at Ghostface, so I feel like this 7 hour video was destined to end up in my feed
yeah, ghostface is very difficult for new players to get into! it's very punishing to make even a small mistake for either side with ghostface and often if you're new it'll be your side so people often get demotivated from learning.
6:51 gonna say one thing

Yooooo for a certain niche of people this video is a highlight of the year like getting a raise or losing a ton of weight.
Just got Ghostface on the game...I'll do my best to watch the whole guide
well, there's timestamps so you don't have to watch it all if you don't want. most of it is just game play so you can see how I play each map. if you need extra advice lmk and I'll be happy to help
@@mousemallow8297 after all the work you had to put this together? No way, i'm watching the whole thing and you can't stop me!

as a ghostface main, i approve of this video
