I've using an Sh39 for a few years and needed a box for my new xmax. I have no complaints with the 39, but this time I want try the SH44 for the more box/square shape. Thanks for the info on this one since I was unsure if the latch required locking like the Givi (I'm in the US where most all info for this type of stuff in usually online only). This appears to operate like the 39, but has the handle available. Good to know

Thanks for the vid! I can't see a rubber band at the edges of the topcase. Does the top lid vibrate because of this?

We've not noticed any vibration or noise and we;ve been running this kit now for a year
