Based on true events, The Night They Came Home chronicles the ruthless exploits of the Rufus Buck Gang, Native American outlaws who terrorized the Indian Territory of Middle America at the tail end of the 19th century. This is just....sad.
So many elements are necessary for a movie's success, and based on this trailer, it's missing every single aspect for a decent film.
Right off the bat, the super low budget props kept me from feeling this was the old west. That IKEA table and lights...WTF?
The wardrobe looked like it was made the day of shooting; not a scrap of material looked like it had weathered a single season.
Then, the dialogue/narrator? How many cliche axioms can a trailer have? This one has 17.
To be completely blunt, it seems like a rich youngster (probably the son of a producer) wanted to be in a movie, and if he can't be the "lead" he at least wants to be equal to the 2 recognizable actors. Rufus got his way, and unfortunately he got to mess around like a sophomore on a filming lot. This whole thing is just terrible. Not "it's so terrible it's good" either.
It's complete dogshit.
Even the trailer leaves you with regurgitated heartburn...of something chunky and acidic.
I could eat a can of alphabet soup and crap out a better script.

This trailer doesn't inspire me to watch this movie .Westerns died a long time ago. If you're gonna do it. Do it right. Last great western movies in the past decade that stands out to me are True Grit 2010, Django unchained 2012, Revenant 2015, Hateful Eight 2015, The Magnificent seven 2016. There are some series that have tried to keep the genre alive with grittier stories and authentic sceneries and backgrounds, not to mention top notch acting.
It isn't a western, is an amateurish joke.
This movie looks legit as hell, I will be watching for sure. It's the same stature as The Harder they fall, that movie was top notch . Lionsgate is really going the limit . Keep it up

This would only be fun to watch with a group of friends to point things out with and cringe... Also, the rap was a good touch.. I used to watch old westerns with my pa and they always opened up the show with some good ol' down home rap.

I just wasted my life watching this garbage. It was the worst acting ever! I cant even believe Brian Austin Green was in this. Maybe he needed a job to get back on the scene. The actors all gave off the novice vibe as if they were still in year 1 of acting school. The say the movie was layed out was also terrible. Thank God I watched it using my free movie ticket from Dish cuz if i had paid to watch this I would have been mighty pissed. I didnt even watch the ending.
