This is a beautiful road trip, spectacular scenery and the architecture is amazing.
My wife agrees with me it's one of the best motorcycle trips on CZcams.

Hi Chris, thank you… a cold orange juice has never tasted so good! 😁
Stunning Steve. The other ting CZcams misses are the smells that connect your brain to places. Perfect place for lunch. 👌👍
Thanks Ken, yes, as lunch spots go, that place had it going in! 😁
Another great video keep up the great work 👍
Thanks John, I appreciate your kind comment 😁
Nothing beats an Italian pizza.
You’re not wrong!! 😁
Absolutely love watching what you’re doing, your commentary and description of your journey is amazing. You have brought the warmth and atmosphere of Italy right into our front rooms. Please keep safe Frank & Mandy
Hi Frank and Mandy, thank you so much for your kind words, they put a big smile on my face at the end of a 475 mile day! I’m so glad you are enjoying my videos 😁

Thank you my friend! 😁

Amazing roads and an epic memory Steve and my god did that pizza look tasty !!
That road was simply stunning - just like the pizza! Thanks for watching and commenting Arch, I really appreciate it! 😁
It's such a shame you have to rush. Great vid, ride safe.
Hi Terry, yes, it would have been lovely to have spent longer exploring as I went , perhaps next time! So glad you enjoyed the video! 😁
What an amazing video and fantastic roads 👏 The standard of driving makes South Wales look good 😂 stay safe and enjoy and this is definitely on my bucket list next year 😎
Hi Richard, thank you, the driving was certainly an eye opener for me! 😂 Definitely roads worth visiting next year 😁
Looks fantastic. I am enjoying your videos. Thank you and enjoy the ride.
Hi Wayne, thank you, I’m so glad you are enjoying them 😁
You made me hungry with your pizza !
It was as good as it looked!!! 😁
You forgot to tell your face you were excited 😐😂 loving the videos, inspiration for me get out and do some miles.
So glad you’re enjoying my videos, really happy to hear they inspire you to get out there and ride! 😁
Oh my gosh; Pompey and then that beautiful road. The other motorists were a little scary though
Hi! What a stunning road and those drivers were an eye opening to say the least 😂
I hate that we have to be anxious about leaving the bike locked and some stuff strapped on.
It is the one downside of parking the bike… fingers crossed there won’t be any issues 🤞
Great vid Steve funny because I knew exactly what you meant regarding the driving. When I went to Sicily I ended up just pulling out on islands as they don’t give you any Lea-way. I found driving the way the Italians did then it felt safer. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you my friend, yes, you’re right. By forcing my hand and going for it at times, it felt like I was flowing with the current of manic drivers rather than fighting against them! A steep learning curve for sure! 😂
Hi Steve, great video today, Pompey was great and the ride out was amazing, think you might want to get some summer gear you look over heated 🥵
Stay strong and stay safe
‘H’ in the UK 👍🏻😎🍺
PS
get a steel locking cargo net for your bike they are brilliant
Hi there, thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Yes, summer gear would be good, better winter gear too! Whilst in the queue at Pompeii, someone was telling me about the steel cargo net… definitely something I will look into… 😁
Been in France - Germany (black forest) Annecy Ardecheche Andorra Carcasonne and now Nice - 4500km over the last 7 days all thanks to you and your channel - ok so I used hotels (not so tough) but its been great wish I had tried this sooner - keep going its been a great series so far
I am physically shattered though but Ive learnt to bless DCT - bizarrely its my keft shoulder thats falling to pieces but hey ho
Awesome!!! That’s a whole chunk of Kms!! 😁 It makes me so happy to hear this! 😁😁😁 Nothing wrong with a hotel…. I quite like a good Airbnb given half the chance! Have a great trip! 😁
Another brilliant one Steve. How do you keep your eyes on the road, with views like that. Well done buddy, looking forward to the next one.
Hi Brian, thank you! I’m always torn between looking where I’m going and looking at the view… it’s a good problem to have! 😁
I don't suppose you remember the name of the site near Livorno? I'm catching a ferry from there to Corsica next month.
Hi Alan, off the top of my head I don’t but I will endeavour to find out for you… Bear with me though as I am currently camped up a mountain in Switzerland (the next tour to be published!) 😁
I’m with you on standing up on the pegs too…
Rests the bum a bit, stretches the legs and gets some air on yer face.
I’m curious, what sort of mileage do you make every day?
I’m dreaming of doing a long trip, but I always get such a sore arse. I stop when I’m tired and start to ache, cup of tea, wee break, bite to eat etc… but the tiredness never really goes.
What do you do so you can much the miles better??
Loving the content and enjoying your trip vicariously.
Safe travels and enjoy what you’re riding.
*munch the miles better….
Hi Matt, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos! Mileages vary quite a bit from day to day but I probably average 300 or so, with the occasional 500+, 18 hour day (happened a few times whilst in Morocco!). Standing from time to time definitely helps and shifting around on the seat too quite frequently. Regular coffee stops or just 5 minute breathers are good. Do the king trip if you get the chance, you’ll love it! Thanks for watching 😁
What time of year did you go?
Early April, thanks for watching 🙂
what tires are u running how do they handle on hwy?
On this tour I’m using Michelin Anakee Adventures: they are road biased so completely fine on the Highway….
