Mount Etna is in the news for blowing smoke rings, courtesy of a new crater and this is something I've just got to see. So there is nothing for it but to ride up the side of an active volcano and the road is absolutely sublime...

Hi Steve having subscribed and given you a thumbs up from the beginning of this series I think it is also time to say thank you for all of your hard work as I am enjoying the journey. I also ride a GS and love it. My wife and I have also been down to the Amalfi coast but sadly for us it was on a coach. However I have ridden down to San Remo & Misano so I do know how erratic drivers can be. I think we also have something in common in that neither of us have money to throw away and do it on a budget. Mc Ds and Haribos have stopped me from starving at times. Looking forward to also viewing your back catalogue as well.

What an amazing adventure 😍 the history and architecture alone is worth the trip but then there's the scenery, food, people,sounds and smell.
I'm already searching for my next second hand bike after having my beautiful 22 year old Honda stole.
My old buddy is gone.
Im currently looking at the Kawasaki versys 650, l haven't worked in 3 years after being diagnosed, so l can't afford a new bike, but there's plenty of great second hand bikes to choose from.
Im waiting on the insurance company sorting something out, in the meantime l continue to be inspired by all the bikers on CZcams .

What a journey though. At 11,000ft the air would be very thin so little wonder you might have felt weary. No rain!!😮

I would have definitely gone up the cable car too. Was across in Iceland in December, being in the presence of live volcanoes is a mind blowing feeling. Great views up there.
It was certainly a unique experience made
extra special for me by those smoke rings. Iceland is definitely on my list, maybe next year or the one after! 🙂
