If you are looking for 18650 cells to build a battery pack here is where I buy mine. I have always used LiitoKala cells and found them to be good quality.
Note the Name brand cells are copies, they are NOT genuine but do have similar properties to the original and are still good batteries.

Nice to see it morphing into a well sorted project Ali.
I'd not bother with the under bonnet sound insulation, as it's not got a rattling diesel engine to quieten up now.
Just remove it all, and save a few grams of weight. ;)
Thanks mate, I'm not too concerned about the sound insulation apart from whining PS motor and the tin drum I've just created. 😕

Ali..... Probably a stupid question..... Are you using a custom radiator or the original LR radiator? To cool the motor with I mean.
Not a stupid question at all mate, I made custom mounts so I could fit the Leaf rad in the gap where the Freelander rad was. I still have to confirm if that's a good idea or not but it fits nicely and the Leaf hoses will fit so I'm hoping that's half the battle. 😉
