I hate that the “smith bp” forces you to do “unique bosses,” meaning that you can’t grind the same boss, making it a SUUUUUPPPPER long grind
Youre saying you cant replay the same boss? For example if i beat the final joker can i just replay that match, beat him again, and progress with agent smith?
Bro it’s only day one, and the event goes on till July 18th, they are obviously going to add more bosses so you can get Agent Smith later on.

if thats how it works then how are we supposed to fet him 2 weeks early? Even if you unlock every difficulty theres only 2 different rifts. Thats like 10 progress lol @ShadowTaiga
my problem with multiverses
Gameplay
No more grounded neutral air.
The camera zooms in far too often.
No leaderboards.
No after-battle report aka "damage done" "ringouts"
You can't see who accepted/declined a rematch.
Modes
No more Co-op VS AI
No offline play
No FFA mode with items
Training
You can no longer play as characters you don't own in local play and training
You can't change your controller settings in the training room anymore
More full loading screens when changing settings / start positions
No advanced tutorial mode
Economy / Progression
No more cheaper characters (e.g. Garnet, Taz) for 1500 - every character is 3-6k
No non-Gleamium skins
No more battle pass xp after every match. We can only level up the battle pass from challenges now.
No "toast back" if someone toasts you after you've left the post-match screen.
You HAVE to use your character tickets if you got them (presumably also battle pass tickets), you can't choose to pay character currency or gleamium.
Settings
No option to remove team colors in battle
No ability to swap neutral and side attacks
Can't remove or lower buffering of inputs
Can't change the game's language in the setting
The differing value characters I miss so much together with grounded neutral air and toasting back after
Thank you for actually explaining how this works. All the previous videos I watched were not helpful at all, you made me feel like I wasn't crazy for thinking how over-complicated and difficult it is to unlock Agent Smith.

This is the most grinding I have had to do in any game ever even the battle pass is terrible
They expect us to beat 30 bosses as if there’s not only 6 available currently💀💀💀
And each one takes like an hour to complete 💀 this is gonna be a hell of a grind haha

Okay one thing that really ticks me off is that alot of the challenges require you to play with a partner. Like if i wanna get a full clear for the stages i need to have a friend that will wanna grind it out with me. Usually my friends get bored faster then me so its not that fair for everyone. Other then that good game lol i dont mind the grind
The trick is to play it solo, but use a second controller which you won't care about. Not the best strategy but it works
@@radboyrandom1976 unfortunate tricking. Rather them adjust the challenge since it's only 1 challenge. Maybe beat the stage in 90 seconds or something like that

So in summary is, grind and grind, complete missions and boss missions and then get FREE skin

Their goal is to keep you coming back everyday. So if you do the rifts and keep logging in, you will earn Agent Smith pretty easily

What I hate is that it is demanded that you have to own not only specific characters but for the velma one YOU HAVE TO HAVE MULTIPLE EXTREMELY SPECIFIC SKINS you have to have DC characters with the graphic tee skin to even play them.
Also, if any of you are struggling with the whole getting 17.5k gems, use Taz, when he spins against the balloon it stacks the gems into on place and not send them flying. But be sure to hit the jack in the box for bigger numbers.
I don't have taz -.- I bought joker thinking the currency was easy to get and now he's all I have other than banana guard 😢

I think it’s completely fair because for someone to grind this hard in this much for a single character I think it’s well-deserved and a good grind to get a character early access. That means everyone will be able to get the character soon but for an early access grind this is pretty cool.
True, I would've preferred if they explained it a bit better. Like saying you need to get the last character at the rift to count as a boss. Since one text says complete the rift, and then other says beat bosses. Almost feels like there should be more than one in a rift (Maybe there is in the higher difficulties?)

With 6 adventures available, going to need to complete 3 in each + 2 difficulty level 4 ones. Until they release a 7th. 2 weeks early probably includes the higher difficulties. So most experienced players can unlock agent smith when the 4th adventure releases
The thing is, I don’t even think the higher difficult releases until July 10th cause there’s a little lock neck to it that says jul 10 💀 like wtf

What's crazy is that the number is set to 20....as in you need to beat 20 bosses. I got smacked on the second difficulty by martian manhunter, and I was a beta player. Still fun though lol
so we get about 2 months to complete 20 different bosses to get him 2w early, then there is the rest of the rewards and because we cant farm same boss over and over meaning we can only get 5 points per Rift, and at the moment there is only 2 3th one is coming in next week so 3 that would leave us to 15 point so most likely with in 2 months we should have 4th and maybe 5th rift open and even 6th with in 2 months

1 thing i discovered play with friends that didnt finhished the rift
When I was playing this earlier, the game wouldn't let me use the cannon at all. It looks like you have to hold LT and then you can shoot the cannon in the mini game and boss stage, but it wasn't triggering for me. Am I doing something wrong or is the game bugging out?

You get rift gems from the acme boxes, there are a few of those in the battle pass besides the rift mode

Does resetting the rift and making it to the end and defeating the boss count? Cause it took me like 15 mins to do an easy joker rift and if we can just reset the rift after beating the boss and do it again and it counts then I’m just gonna do that
I believe so!! I found myself doing that with joker and it increased on my meter buuuuuut I’d suggest completing all the rifts you have then do the reset

I maxed out all the missions doing all challenge gems except the 2 player one.
You dont get enough to unlock the next levels so if you dont have a friend to play with you cant unlock agent smith early til more rifts open
Every difficultly gives you progress. Theres 6 rifts in the list (even in the video) they just unlock at a later time but still before agent Smith event ends. That's all 30 if you do every rift on every difficulty. The difficulty before loony is most likely going to unlock when the new chaos rift starts
Your counting the tutorial rift which doesnt count. There's 5 rifts and 25 possible bosses currently listed to be unlocked.
I need Jake skin and that mean I might as well need all 30. I need to know if I have to do 5 stars on every single rift to unlock the final difficulties

It does tell you everything on how to unlock him.

For those of you who are wondering about obtaining the “3rror MVS” banner as step 5, all you have to do is to defeat the Joker boss on Crushing difficulty.
You don’t have to get 5 stars on every challenge, and you don’t have to play all levels of the rift, you just need to find your way to the Joker boss.
Personally, I tanked with the iron giant through the combat encounters, even if black ring Wonder Woman and Superman were a freakin’ pain in the ass.
I hope that my advice is useful, and I wish you good luck through the rifts. 👌😊🚪
How do I get to gem level 4 for higher difficulty?
@@HarpicBoy Grind it out if you don't want to pay for Gem XP. Completing the Rifts on the difficulties gives you very slight Gem bonuses, and when you reach each Challenge Milestone (where you get enough Stage Challenges completed to add up to your next objective on the bottom-right meter), it gives you a bonus with a good chunk of Gem XP for a number of Gems. Also, every day one of the Rifts has Daily Bonuses you can do which will also give you some Gem XP to several Gems for each one you finish (and doing it on higher Difficulties seems to give more than lower ones, so once you're ready to go do it every day you can as high as possible).
It's not supposed to be a quick activity to finish and you're meant to take time to get your Gems leveled up and progress through the different Rifts as they unlock each week and the various Difficulties associated with them. But that's also why they give you like two months for each Season with more Rifts to grind out as it continues on. It's likely not going to be very difficult to do as long as you can play half an hour most days to keep up with it.
Now imagine if we get V and Elrond...Hugomania baby!
I'm just using the rifts to grind for fighter currency because grinding to get smith is taking wayyyy too long so ill just wait till he is purchasable

Level 20 on the pass is not the agent, it clearly is marked with a skin icon which is a "variant". The agent itself is not in the pass, its when hes released there will be a 2 week gap before you can purchase it like other fighters.
Do the stars matter in rifts, will it affect me getting agent Smith if I don’t get all the stars in rift??
Its not really annoying if you enjoy it and theres good rewards throughout i think tier twenty is when you unlock him meaning he will be available whenever the fifth rift unlocks or jun 18 when looney mode releases

There are currently 5, with 5 difficulty options in each totaling 25. So there will most likely be a sixth releasing, seeing how even the fifth one is saying "coming soon".

You get a ''Boss Point'' every time you beat the last fight (its the Boss Level), and there are different rifts and difficulties so there are 6 difficulties in every rift and there are 5 rifts (not all of them are available rn) so 6 difficulties means 6 bosses per rift and 5 rifts that is 30 Boss Point and I think that is more than enough to get Agent Smith and even unlock the rewards at the later tiers of that mini Agent Smith pass. All you need to do is: Beat EVERY SINGLE DIFFICULTY on EVERY SINGLE Rift and you will have a Agent Smith in your hands.

Ok this guy didn't explain you have to basically get a friend and get most of the stars ✨ once that is done you have to level up the gem. Do the same missions over and over until you level up to 5 or 6.
I wish they had matchmaking for rifts too, since they want us to bring another person with us so bad

It was a bad launch back in the "beta" and nothing has changed but the shop, grind, and of course monetization for everything.
For a lot of the quests it requires me to bring another player into battle but i always load in as a 1v1. For the very second mission I was loaded in with a Harley Quinn NPC. How do I complete this?
You need to get an actual player to team-up with
Its only the first time you defeat a boss, and even with the current amount of events they show, there isnt enough bosses to level up the battle pass to max, which is super odd, and yeah you need to buy characters and skins just to play some of the missions in the other events.. Sooo if you are an only solo player and/or dont want to pay money, its practically impossible for you to complete this battle pass as you wont even get enough of those jems to get higher difficulties to get the bosses to complete it.... Its wack.

So far I noticed that you can pay for to get them unlock fast which I’m not willing to do since I was playing as them before going offline. The characters you had for free were only free for a limited time. They had like 5 - 6 characters that were temporarily available each week during beta

Everyone is talking about the grind of it... what bothers me is I've played everyday doing daily stuff and my highest gem lvl is still 7. Idk why some modes are STILL absent. But it seems very made to make you wanna buy these gems with REAL money. Aka glemium.... seems like a lot of things in the game are allocated just as that as well. Characters take way to long to get compared to the beta. You can't just play the game a ton to get BP lvls and character points... no, you have to wait and do challenges a ton just to get one character you can't even test currently. OR you can just spend irl money🙃 ik these devs really care about the players, and ik they need to make money too. But I'd gladly buy awesome cosmetics for characters I like. I will not buy characters/gems🤣 and the incentive to play more than just doing daily stuff is just not there unless the soul purpose is to just get better. Which, no ranked rn means random people that may be good or may be bad....

Assuming an easy rift takes about 15 minutes, it will take 7.5 hours to complete the event. Not horrible tbh

No the hard part is that none of your gems will be high enough level for you to even unlock the harder difficulties

I think that one of the difficulties will become active at some point. So itll be 25 if anything…but yeah still doesn’t make sense

You get the point from the first time you beat a rift boss on a difficulty. Pretty simple and self explanatory right in the game
Wait so if re-beating the bosses dont count towards unlocking agent smith, that means he isnt even unlockable right now, as there is only 2 bosses with 4 difficulties each, making 8 tiers towards agent smith, therefore he cant be unlocked yet. This is so dumb and convoluted I CBA.
Let me know if I’m correct on this: you can’t unlock agent smith yet because the other three events aren’t even out yet right? There’s the Jason one and two others that aren’t even released which means agent smith won’t be unlockable until those other 3 boss fights/events come out, right? Is that correct
