Feel your pain Aaron. I remember dancing in a nightclub in Covent Garden back in early 2000 when I was approached by a gorgeous girl who asked my name and wanted to dance. When I told her my name in my broad Scottish Accent... she simply said "sorry I thought you were Italian" and then just walked off 😂. I still haven't learned Italian since

Erba Pura is polarizing but I love it. That fruit cocktail mixed with musk and vanilla does it for me. Super strong too

Erba Pura is a bomb. It lasts forever on my Wife and has a sillage that is unexplainable. Your review is spot on.
Amazing review as always Aaron! Xerjoff is really starting to become one of my favorite niche houses and I only smelled 2 of their line (Naxos & Alexandria II). Hope to see more Xerjoff in the future and stay healthy!

This is a bomb! I had it and loved it! It lasts easy 14 h+ and projects nice for at least 4h. It does smell like a torquoise drink.

Definitely polarizing. At first I tried it and thought it was too femenine. But the way it makes me feel was so different to any other fragrance I had. It made its way into my top 3 for sure
I love this perfume, got it and wear it. Always got compliments and colleagues could smell me from a long distance.... Only one person didn't like it. Yes you are right it won't be for everyone. It is strong, projects well and correctly said, like tropical, peary, appley smell if I recall. I haven't worn it for a while so saying from top of my head.

I really admire & trust your reviews bc there can be a lot of “mythology” & BS is thus world. I trust someone who knows (and says) what they do & don’t know (yet). Galbanum is divisive. Xerjoff is very nice! Have you reviewed Amouage? I’m super excited to purchase Raw Cherry! My personal hope is that you will review the *original* formulation of Maurice Roucel’s 24 Faubourg by Hermes!!! It’s my Forever Favorite scent & I’d like to know why ❤️😀

I own this. 2 sprays max. I left my sweatshirt that I wore in the lower part of my home. Went downstairs the next morning and the scent was evident in the room from the sweatshirt. Amazing projection.

And Erbs Pura leaves such an intoxicating scent trail, especially when im st the mediterranen area, ufff, this crisp citruses witb this amber, matches this area so well, but tropical areas its stunning too for sure...

I was wondering about an aromachemical/accord in this fragrance, that I recognize from Head & Shoulders. It's a generic fruity smell, and VERY long-lasting. My hair smells like it the next day. Is that the galbanum? Is it an aromachemical or accord?

I have a decant that is still half full..to me Erba Pura reminds me of all the hotties from the 1990's ..it literally smells like the female club frags that I remember..even my own mother had something that smelled like this tropical cocktail..it wasn't good on me..but I can understand the appeal..
I have this and only wear it on certain occasions. 1 spray and I'm good for the day/night. It tends to a have a huge scent cloud that may offend others..not that I care.

from this house i have a bottle of Naxos and sold a bottle of agusta along with about 30 other scents that have been taking up space that i don't like or wear as i didn't wear it that much and always reached for ambre leather first if i fancied an amazing leather scent.
I LOVE ERBA PURA! I think it's my top 5 favorite fragrance if not 3. Never smelled something like this. It's so aromatic and absolute amazing. Love love love layering it with molecule 01 or 02.

Completely agree with you on this one, I really wanted to love this but there’s this really synthetic orange note that I can’t stomach, (similar to Sicily from Mancera) without that it would be amazing 🔥 Do you have any alternatives you’d recommended for a fruity, beast mode fragrance like this but without the jarring orange note?

Aaron, get your nose on Oud Zanzibar by Blend Oud. But, don’t just smell it up close. Smell it in the air on someone else. It is a great freshie.
I expected you to say that it is super synthetic but I suppose that with the comparison you have made it is just the same 😂 I have never endured Sunny delight, it smells and tastes synthetic like an “orange” flavored medicine powder 🤢 it is also very sharp.

Never smelled this but hear that TT Kirke, which is a fruit bomb, is a good clone of this. If so, it must smell amazing!

You are absolutely right with your review!! For many I know and for me, this fragrance DNA is a no-go :D Fruits are too plastic and artificial. There is white musk in the base, which makes me think of harsh hairspray. When I smell Erba Pura, I think of the song "Barbie Girl" by Aqua:

Our local radio station played Barbie Girl on endless repeat a long time ago as part of a charity effort; they'd stop playing it after they raised a certain amount of money. I think it traumatized half our city.

I actually loved it. But didnt like the tropical fruit note. If it got rid of that and was more natural Sweetened with sweet orange. Manderine, Ylang Id loved it!
