Love the sound of mixing the pasta with the sauce. Or mussels clicking when you shake in the pan. Butter popping before it gets color. There are so many sounds in the kitchen that let you know there is something amazing happening.
Bolognese sauce is my kids favorite as well(they are 23 and 27). We’ve been making it together for years! Merry Christmas to both of you beautiful ladies!

I made this 2 days ago ... the sauce!!! I grew up in Ohio and while I loved the "meat sauce" my mom and then I made ... this had the added extra: milk, wine, aromatics. Wonderful! I am a 1 human household so froze a lot in souper cubes for easy cheesy bolognese, lasagne, stuffed shells, etc. Thank you "Giadzy" and crew!!

Way back when every day Italian started, I bought the Bolognese looked the best so I started making it. At this point I’ve been making it so long and almost every Sunday that my family just thinks I somehow came up with the recipe. But the fact is it’s.Giada’s original recipe. Because I don’t like the meat in it, I started doing the meatless version that she makes for her mom. I feel like it’s such a staple, and that everyone should learn how to make it. 🙌

I use lambrusco wine cause it's a bit sweet and goes well with the tomato paste, since we don't have good tomatoes usually.

I'm so unrefined. I thought maybe there was bologna in that dish. I just had that for 1st time in 10 years in my work sandwiches. I have that same shirt Giada has, although mine is a real flannel, not sure her's is. I'm 6'3" 210 so I'm guessing alot more material went into mine.
