i'm not 100% analog, not even in this jam where i wanted to focus on Tempest mostly, i used few loops (vocals, rhythm) from ableton as i said in the description.

Wow. been doing a lot of researching about this or the analog rytm and....goddamn sir you have just sold me. this is an incredible set.
haha thx for the words ! ok then, tempest is a great gear but i'm also more & more interested in AR. At first i prefer the organic global sounding of the tempest and also the 6 voices polysynth but i tryed the AR recently and the workflow is amazing, like Octatrack. The sound of drums are a bit punchier and it sounds a bit "cleaner" (which at first made me choose the tempest because too clinical). The highs of Tempest are off the charts i think, much more natural, the AR is colder but it's damn effective on the kick. Also with Tempest you start from a blank page and you have to create your drums from nothing. It tooks me a bit of time to be happy with my kickdrums and still i feel sometime unsatisfied. With the AR, it's ready to go ! So it depends of the style of your music i guess, your patience and your knowlege of drums synthesis :)
Ah man! Thanks for such a detailed response. Seriously between all of them it seems like every one individually holds something special to offer. The octotrack seems sooo fun as well. Gear can be very overwhelming at times. It sounds like the analog rytm is more "ready to jam". BUT man you make the tempest look very jammable. in a live/set application the elektrons looks so ready to go...what a tough decision.
You should try both in a store if possible ;)
