- This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the DC Comics character "Yuga Khan." From being the first ruler of Apokolips with his wife Heggra, being the first to own the complete "Anti-Life Equation," easily being the most powerful of the "New gods" and the New 52 "Old gods," being the father of Darkseid (Uxas), Infinity Man (Drax), and Highfather (Izaya), striking fear in the hearts of all around him including his notorious son Darkseid, owning a more powerful precursor to Darkseid's "Omega Sanction" called the "Torment Sanction," having a limited ability to manipulate the energy of "The Source" itself, taking out other powerful beings like Lar Gand the Daxamite, Desaad, and the "New god" Gideon, being one of the few in the DC Universe that can subdue Darkseid, to his repeated attempts to pass the "Source Wall" leading to his downfalls; Let's take a look at this DC supervillain, and vastly powerful founding ruler of the planet Apokolips. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic books and science fiction characters.

Honestly, the fact that he was able to physically break away from the Source Wall on his own is reason enough to be terrified of him. There isn't much else that needs to be said to explain how terrifying he is. Everything else beyond that is just overkill.

Cool one of my favourite characters from The New Gods. I have all those issues. When he was first introduced he started out trapped as a Promethian giant, not stuck in the Source Wall. He breaks free from the planet he's shackled too more from figuring something out than using pure strength. Anyways great vid. :)

Actually New Gods don't have versions based on realities... They have avatars that serve as a reflection of the being when filtered though the reality you are living in.
Also at the end of final crisis many of them have had their Godheads broken or in Darkseids cause outright shattered apart with them aware of the fact they are apart of a greater being.

Also there are many beings who could threaten creation and God only deals with some of them directly if there's no choice or no alternative at the time. Remember God is the true omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent being in all of DC and possibly beyond. All options are weighed instantly but free will permits him to act in terms a=of a guide, instead of a judge.

This guy's reminds me of Bor, Odin's father, for many reasons. I'd LOVE to see those two go head to head. Any God who can make Darkseid afraid, must be one scary, powerful MF lol. But imo, I'd have to give the win to Bor. He seems to be a bit more powerful when it comes to his abilities. Brute strength doesn't seem to be enough against "magic" and Bor's power set. I first heard of this guy from the really old DC trading cards which I think came out around 1991. On the card it mentions he is Darkseids father and it shows him binding his son to the ground by manipulating the earth to grab him with vines and arms. I never knew how powerful he was because DC never made power stats. The first time I have seen stats for DC characrers is in the Mutants & Masterminds 3rd edition based on DC characters. The stats may not be exact (b/c it is a game) but gives you a good idea how pwerful each character is in relation to each other.
