I find it very interesting, that the girls voices are so distinctively different yet when they sing together, they sound like 1 voice. I love this band.

Telling me Lies is the best they've done IMHO! Crazy done live by Sammi on lead vocals is another of my favorites.
I wish it was a top 20 countdown so we could have heard some more favorites.
All F n F covers are outstanding but this was a no brainer. The harmonies, guitar riffs and bass riffs of this very complex song are performed to perfection. This bar is set very very high.
I'm glad that you picked the Judy Blue Eyes as your number 1. That was the first performance I ever saw of Foxes and Fossils. I was amazed!
Foxes and fossils are group I discovered years ago. I think they are one of the best kept secrets in the industry! The homegrown feel and the vocal harmonies, along with impeccable instrumentation can't be beat. Most of their song selection is as it should be, and I am a big fan of 1960s through 80s. They're still many other songs I'd like to see them cover, but hopefully in time. I hope Chase remains active with them as she is an integral part of the vocals. Thanks for the top 10 and I agree with most of your picks. I definitely agree with Suite Judy Blue eyes being number one! That's the best cover of that song I've ever heard and is what introduced me to the group.

I find it funny or surprising that so many people are amazed at how extremely talented this band really is. Tim is a master at putting this all together and has an exceptional ear and I honestly think pure talent is like a magnet because it's amazing how good they were to begin with and then magic appears when Chase joined them and the fossils music is some of the best out there. F & F please Keep rockin our world!

I've been following Foxes and Fossils for over 6 years now. I'm always blown away by their harmonies. Sammie and Maggie sound so amazing together. The addition of Chase stepped things up a few notches. She is going to be a star. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a great voice. And what can I say about the Fossils? First-rate musicians.Thank you, Tim, for making all this happen. I'm such a geek, I just realized I'm wearing my new F&F t-shirt right now. Please support this great band by buying their merch!

The vid that started me was "Harvest Moon". I dunno which one to take out but Harvest Moon gotta be on to he list.
The problem with this list for me is that every song they sing is one of my top ten! I have moved Suite Judy Blue Eyes off number one, however, Same group, different track. I think "Carry On" is spot on in every way imaginable. It gets the nod for me probably because of the keyboard that Judy Blue Eyes lacks. I also find myself going back to "Love is the Answer" every time I check to see what's new. And Maggie never looked cuter than when she told us that "You can't hurry Love." Carry on!

Hmmm. The first song that I heard from F&F was Harvest Moon and is still mesmerizing for me. To base the ranking on number of views would seem to result in older songs ranking higher, though I think it is splitting hairs as whatever they do sounds great.

That is just good music, excellent
Well, I like all of these and many more, but one song that sticks out for me is Ain't Nobody Love, which was barely rehearsed (if at all) before being performed live, and Sammy just takes that song to another level with her soaring vocals and sassy attitude.
Sammie’s voice is so pure and always in Harmony with the others in the group…

Yellow Brick Road gets my attention as well....
Goodbye yellow brick road is one of my favorite Chase songs. I get emotional everytime. I will be doing a top 20 Foxes and fossils next month. I am excited to see if any of their songs that I covered have changed places.

A few really good ones weren't included, e.g., their great cover of Carrie Underwood's "The Night Before," and probably the best cover ever made of CSN's "Helplessly Hoping." I don't know how many times I've listened to those two numbers. Foxes and Fossils are pretty unique. Pretty great, too.
You could have picked 10 of any other songs of theirs that were not on this list, and still have been right. Ya just can’t pick favorites when everything they do is so good. This band is absolutely amazing!
Mr. Marshall has picked some great covers but I just can’t see how ‘Telling me lies’ is number ten? Clearly he hasn’t seen Trio do the song because if he had he would see how great that cove is!

Harvest Moon is another one that I personally love to.
I agree with number one as it has always impressed me the most but Telling Me Lies is a close number Two in my book as every time i hear it, it brings me to tears. Wow!! These young ladies are tops. I was a huge Linda Ronstadt and Emmy Lou Harris fan and Dolly is Too notch but the foxes out did them in this song in my book.

Great list, but Harvest Moon has to be in the Top 10. Much better than Hip to My Heart.
I think there could be a lot of differing opinions on the top 10, but suspect that the #1 spot is pretty solid amongst most people.
My all time favorite didn't make this list with Chase singing Yellow Brick Road. I have been turning people on to F&F for over eight years. They are Amazingly talented.
I love F&F. I agree with below, Harvest Moon should be on the list. My favorite is Seven Bridges Road for the harmonies but Suite Judy Blue Eyes is incredible as well.
