ive planted the second daisy also, i found that it wilted a bit at first (i almost dug it up!), but a few weeks later it is flowering and a happy chappy.
are they purple salvia's in the back? You must have to stay on top of those with pruning. What about the runners that come up? If my salvia's were in your garden, they'd be coming up in the lawn outside your very nice garden borders. It all looks really lovely. Well done. No wonder you enjoy being there the most

The salvia's are mostly blue but some pink. no runners or self seeding either.
can i ask what brand of gumboots you are using? or where you bought them cost?
