My dad was a life-long Republican voter as well as a military veteran. The year that he died, I was able to show him how Trump had basically highjacked the party, and I told him about how he felt towards military veterans. I asked him for one more favor; to vote for Biden that year. After hearing what I said and doing a bit of his own research, he did just that. He placed aside his party affiliation and did what was best for the country he fought to protect. That was his last act of honor before he died shortly thereafter. Thank you, Dad. I love you!

My dad was a flight test engineer for LTV and worked with the Navy a lot. I went into the Navy and worked on the F-14 for 6 years. We were both very proud of each other.

Timothy 3 :2 Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. Every MAGA should hear this.

My father was born in 1895. He never learned to read or and write. He started working in a coal mine at 17. He was far from perfect, but I'm glad he didn't leave me $Millions and nothing else. That's Dad, I turned out okay.
A good tribute to your dad.💙My dad was born in 1909, had an 8th grade education and owned a small business with my mom. Never wealthy, but all our needs were taken care of. I am very grateful.
My dad is still with us, but he's almost 80 and suffering from Alzheimer's. 20 year military vet, served in Vietnam. Proud of him every day, and trying to be as good a father as he was to me and my brothers. Never showed a moment of disrespect to our mother.

Amen. My Marine Corp Dad fought in Korea at the Battle of Chosin. We lost him 10 years ago but it feels like yesterday. After the war, he dedicated his life to helping vets with PTSD, some of them half his age. He never forgot those who were in need. He was a "dad" to so many. But to his children, he was the best father we could ever have had.
