No cheats, just straight tips and advanced strategies to get the most out of the game. You will become better if you do what I suggest and you'll enjoy the game a lot more.
Many golfers are playing this and quitting, leaving Negative reviews and dissuading others from trying. The fact is a lot of these are just people who are struggling at the game, and blaming the game for there frustrations of being bad at it.

Update: They fixed Green Grids so putting is more true, they added Fast Play so you can now play the game pretty much as quick as PGA 2K23 which is amazing.

Good video dude on I'm level 48 I think and I found doing the free tournament many time over rather than quiting u goer to learn the holes for next time and u take 4k which can help with people struggling for points I aint added my specs yet. I was like wow 98 cant wait to put mine on now I have a completely different set up than. From the old tiger wood games it was all power so I have gone down that route 1 from full I think. Good tips for people not getting much out of it thou
I focused accuracy and control on driving and approach and control on short game. Only 6 power and 3 putting. If you want to stop a 3 iron and even 3 woods on the green then this is the move. I’m only level 40 right now and might spend a few points on putting but I was at 5 putting and decided to retrain back to 3. I’ll be honest I put just as good as I did with with 5. Didn’t find myself saying I wish I had better putting
As far as those daily tournaments are concerned, if the high score is -6 or -7, you can still get Winner rewards with a -4 or even a -3. If I’m in a hurry and can’t play multiple times, I just stop if I’m -3 or -4. I’ve bought legendary specs for all of my clubs and still have around 65,000 reward points in reserve in case something good gets released. The weekly tournaments are even more important if you can get access to tickets. The payout is so much higher if you can get a decent score and specs can be part of the reward too. I use it as a weekly bonus to replenish by bank of points.

I prioritized approach and short game. I maxed out accuracy and control for both of those. I have Power at 5 (5 or 6 seems like plenty). I haven’t seen where Driving Control is that helpful over other skills so I have zero in that. I’m not sure maxing putting out is all that helpful. I only put 3 in it so far to unlock Texas Wedge; seems pretty accurate already. I’m only at level 41, so I may put 1 more in power and some in putting to experiment. I’m at OVR 94, but I don’t have legendaries on all of my clubs. Irons and wedges are a must for those specs. I jumped from around OVR 83 to 94 by just putting big specs on.

Some great tips here, but I personally would never change it to easiest difficultly or skip events. Just don’t see the fun of “beating” this game as fast as possible. I’m playing everything full rounds and loving the slow progression. Quick question, do you need to create a new golfer if you want to start a second career?

Play the full Korn ferry tour on full . By the end of it I won the championship and fell in love with the game

I like to have fun ....in the future I hope they extend the level limit to at least 75 or even a 100....Driver isn't everything but 400 Yard drives without the Powerstroke are just fun.😎.
I like to post a -2 or -3 or whatever I can get in the daily's...but playing through Career (Skipping some of the events) is rewarding. I swear The Random Number Generator (Daily's) screws me on at least one hole...A couple of the challenges are the same way....The Flop shot over the boulder challenge and the dechambeo 5 long drives challenge. I hit 5 perfect's to the same spot and one of them (Usually the last one ) goes stray.
that's facts down wind 10mph my driver goes 380 without boosts which is pretty fun.

I knew I should have bought the Ball Spec. Someone on reddit told me to get the Iron Spec. What he didnt tell me is that you need a different spec for EACH CLUB!! I bought an Iron Spec, and can only use it on One Club. So the Ball Spec is much more useful early on..

Birdie each hole and eagle the par 5s :-) The putting mechanics and the green breaks are {What is another word for suck?} compared to 2K23 and WGT. The natural and quick retort is to hit the approach shots closer. Thanks for the tutorial!
They fixed the green grids
Greens are now fixed and so is the hole, very good first patch!
First time I've played this since my 10 hour trial expired and yea the putting grid was jacked up bad. Glad to see they fixed it, enjoying this game so much more now that putting grid is fixed and the camera is much improved.

If you put all difficulty to the easiest do you still get the same rewards for tournaments/challenges?
I believe so, both take same amount of time. A lot of the challenges are on fixed difficulty setting. But you can set ai difficulty to 0 and cook em.
How do you unlock the legendary ball control? I don't see it, do you have to be a certain level? I'm a 15
I might've bought it the store changes daily so check each day.
Respect to those who can play this game. I just do not understand why some people can play this game and achieve enough VC to buy specs and level up XP etc etc. I am ready to quit this dam game. A good game for me is to end up with a +2 or +3. I am never - under PAR. I may have had one incredible game where I was PAR. I want to be good at this game so bad, but Im really about to move on. I was so hype when I bought this game and now I realize I cant play for shit and It sucks. There is no good tutorials no where and I just play based on luck.

Or just buy points with real money as a last resort. Almost worth $20 to be able to buy legendary specs right off the bat instead of grinding
@@crimsontide1980 I think you can only buy green currency which wouldn't let you buy those legendary specs. So make sure you can buy the yellow vc before attempting that.

I just went looking for the “legendary ball control” and it’s not available in the specs area. Did they take it away with an update?
Specs change every day or every couple days, so keep checking tomorrow for different specs.

How do you play the 1) Lighthouse Open 2) Wetlands Championship 3) Nevada Championship 4) Banff Championship
I'm always ranked too high to play these tournaments, and I need to win these to complete the: Tournaments Part 1, Part 2, Part 4 (in the Career tab)! These are the only 4 tournaments I have not won yet, because the game will not let me compete in those 4 tournaments.
So you can skip the event before at start of season then you'll.be low enough ranked to play the ones u missed or just stop being so good at this game

Where did you earn all those rewards? You show 32000 plus you upgraded all the specs?
Career Mode, Challenges Online Tournaments, Daily and Weekly. The Daily use to have one where you earn 4000 every day. Now it's only 1500 so it's tougher. There was an online tournament I won 80000.
My problem with this compared to 2k is that the backswing is so slow. It might just be me as I am no t playing on a high difficulty but the timing for downswing is just so difficult. It is like swinging in water. That and not being able to change distances to metric.
You can change the swing tempo
I just watch for the max of the backswing wait just a millisecond and then swing down for perfect's. I like 2K23 as well, but this is really compelling...Much better feel.
@@n0body550 yup, just changed mine to "slowest" the other day... was on normal since day one and 99% of the time my swing was too slow... dropped to slowest and now hitting perfects on timing more times than not and even getting "fast" now and then... helped a ton...
What do the blue line mean , when I’m aiming there’s a gray and blue line
Blue Line you can see where the ball is going to land when you zoom in.

I play career mode only. How do you earn credits?
Main Title scroll to rewards, you might not be opening all your credits. You might have a ton saved up you haven't opened.

What's the fastest way to earn coins? I don't get to play as much as i would like
playing Career mode with quick rounds on skipping events to the majors and going thru the majors you get 3900 for finishing the 3 quests. Also I would play the daily online arcade tournament for free 1500. Finally try the quests where it's the open championship some are just make a single putt.
Doesn’t AI difficulty 0 make it really easy for AI to put up great scores? Wouldn’t you want it at 100?

@@thesteelehometeam Correct, it's just to get a sense of what it's like when your player gets to 92 overall or better, it might seem a lot easier to play the game if your character isn't that high yet. Then you can be focused on getting your character to that level.
Idk what the hell im doing wrong. Have the game on arcade everything on easiest and I still cant get under +5 at the masters. I do not get this game at all ive been fine at 2K at higher difficulties in online mode but this game makes zero sense. Wtf lmao
So if your using a 67 overall golfer that isn't upgraded or has stats, that's not unfathomable. Simply would have to upgrade your player. What platform you playin on?

I just do not understand why it seems so easy for other players to earn VC. I cant even get 1000 VC. I been sitting on 2500 VC for about 3 weeks and cant get shit. I bought 5 tickets and played a tournament. If I missed rank I would get 1000 VC. I ended up not qualifying for the 1000 VC and ended up just losing the tickets. What am I not getting? In this video I see you already bought specs and still have 32000 VC. How?

@@BookTheWin Yes, thats how I got the 2500 VC, I just cant imagine getting 18000. Also trying to beat the Korn Ferry tour is insane. I already start +3 or +5 while everybody else is - 11. I actually do not understand how people are succeeding in this game. You know its bad when I cant move up in my career so I just do Quick Plays all day. Since I cant reset my career mode Im stuck on the Korn Ferry that I cant beat, so I just ignore that mode. But thanks for the reply. I still will give you a follow. Im just giving you my perspective. Im just blown away when I see videos likes yours, I Just cant wrap my head around how does one get good enough to be successful at this game. Honestly the reality is not everybody has the skills.
@@The-practice your not stuck you can press y set ai difficulty to lower, you can also skip events. Don't give up.

I'm not sure how online ranked is a waste of time? the whole game would be a waster of time if you're not playing the game to then play competitive online that's the point in the grind
It's not that good of a mode right now with just stroke play and nothing changes if you win or lose. It can be improved on, if you play pga 2k23 you go up or down if you win or lose and it's match play so you don't have to club some beginner by 18 shots over 30 mins.
@@BookTheWin I didn't realise you don't lose points if you lose well that's disappointing can't see that changing so if they add other modes online then that will be the same , kinda makes the game pretty pointless tbh
@@golfboy7438 to a degree it is a bit pointless, there still is world rankings. I do think they will improve it as for example it took 2k like 9 months after launch before having a ranked.
You got 9 too many points on putting. Putting points make no difference whatsoever. Other than if you want the texas wedge

Putting points makes the green grid squares smaller.. it does help for reading. If u got a giant box it might break 2x as much.😂
