  • Amateur gopro footage taken using a GoPro Hero 7 Black on a Karma Grip in April 2019. We hiked the Tallulah Gorge State Park's Rim Trails (Gorge floor was closed for the whitewater kayaking event) followed by a hike to Angel Falls & Minnehaha Falls, all in northern Georgia.

    This is going to be part of our spring fling heading south. Great views as always.

      The gorge is dam regulated so even with this drought we're having you should still have water in it. We were there during a kayaking event weekend so the water was high and the gorge trail was closed. Have fun!

      Thanks for the info! Lived in GA most my life and only now taking time to go : ) I'll have to check out your other videos for some ideas for future trips. Do you have a favorite place you've visited that you've had a chance to upload a video for? Thanks again!

    Beautiful footage! What kind of camera are you using? Did you hike the sliding rock trail while at Tallulah? Just subbed!

      Thanks for subbing! I use only gopro to keep it simple and less time consuming than a focus adjustable camera. This was from a gopro hero 7 black. We didn't get to go to the sliding rock trail unfortunately. Wanted to but unknowingly we went during a kayaking event they hold every April. So the gorge was only open to kayakers.

      Scott Neverdusky awesome! I use the GoPro 8 and the stabilization is incredible. There is a ton of hiking / places to explore on my channel. Would love to hear your feedback. Cheers

      @@MetroOnTheMove I have the 8 now. Was using the 7 on the gimbal. The 8 doesn't fit the gimbal anymore. GoPro appears to have been satisfied with the stabilization of the 8 to ditch the gimbal. My wife and I were wanting to re-visit Tallulah Gorge this June but their website is saying no permits for the gorge trail will be issued at this time. Practically every trail and park is open in Tennessee, so we've stuck to just hiking here. I'll be uploading my 2nd video I shot using the hero 8 tomorrow. You should definitely check out some TN trails in the cumberland plateau region!

      Scott Neverdusky that’s a shame about the gorge floor being closed still. If your interested, here is a link to my video of the hike to sliding rock. czcams.com/video/jzEM_mtf4uE/video.html

    Is angel falls inside of Tallulah Gorge Park?

    • @Dusky672
      @Dusky672  Před 3 lety

      It is not. They're in the same general region of northeast Georgia. Tallulah Gorge is a state park and Angel Falls is in the national forest. I just bunched them together since they were visited on the same day.
