U r so wrong about Afghanistan. Afghanistan cricket flourish because of bcci. Bcci allowed them to play in indian grounds. Bcci gave them grounds and funding. About revenue why wouldn't bcci get major share when above 90% audience is indian?
I guess you should know the subject completely before Posting your thoughts. Quick questions for you to retrospect:
1. Haven't the Brit's denied 2 tickets to a fellow cricket board chairman in first place? That says how English monopoly treated other cricket boards before BCCI took over. If the English were respectful enough, why would India, Pakistan and srilanka united to fight English and English monopoly in ICC?
2. You are fine with English hosting first 3 editions of WC. Even today despite BCCI dominance, can you answer which country hosted previous 2 Test Championship finals? Which countries the English conditions favour in Test match scenarios? Yet you blame BCCI
3. Are you even aware which is home stadium of Afghanistan cricket team? India gave 2 stadiums in India for Afghanistan cricket team and helped them a lot. Ask the Afghan cricket players or listen to Rashid Khan or Nabi's interviews about how how India helped Afghanistan cricket team.
4. Do you ever know it's Indian cricket team who played first Test Matches with minnows or small teams like Afghanistan and Bangladesh?
5. If you are working in a company and working hard and being master mind of your company revenue generating product, will you happily let those haven't contributed anything to take same salary as you? No right? Same way, when 90% of ICC revenue is generated from India, indian board claiming 35% of revenue generated by it is unfair and robbery?
6. Don't blame BCCI for failure of Zimbabwe cricket or West Indies cricket. Their respective boards inefficiency failed them. It's responsibility of ICC to generate revenue for ICC but simply banking on Indian market will not do any good. Person creating more revenue expects major share. Why do English, Australia, Kiwi boards failed to earn more like BCCI? Retrospect buddy!
7. Can you bring a broadcaster who pay millions for a tournament without top teams? Did you ever questioned ICC for rigging the schedule to insert India vs Pakistan match to spin revenue? Haven't ICC stooped so low?
Finally, please don't blame BCCI for inefficiency and failure of ICC as global cricket body.
