Great site, we stayed at the very top for 4 nights for a second time - very peaceful with no passing traffic. Very handy to cycle down to Carsington Water. Recommended! Thanks for sharing.
Yes Bob I agree with you about height barriers, I have a camper van and with the fixed TV aerial etc I can’t get under most of them either. It’s very annoying and inconvenient too. Thanks for this one as this is another place I’ve been thinking of going too.
One thing had some happy time's round there when I live in Brassington be 5 mints from there back in the 70's when we had are Motorhome back in 2005 we when to that Club Site love it . Any way Bob & Jenny nice video as always take care both of you see you next time .

Hi Both, thanks for the arrival vlog, really enjoy the excitment of arrivals. Agree with the 'Heightist' issue for van's ! We have tried to do Park & Rides (considerate way to do it) into towns but obviously some don't want our visit !
I know, they should be encouraging motorhomes to park and rides, it makes no sense!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo It's to keep the "travellers" out who will park for a week but not ride.

Sorry if it made you jump, but most other CZcamsrs use music. We can't keep chatting all the time. I've paid for a year's subscription to Epidemic Sounds and I tend to use it fairly sparingly to fill in quiet parts or enhance the atmosphere. You won't find many films that don't have some music on it.

Enjoyed this and other "Arriving at" video(s). I have noticed on other videos with the CAMC policy of "drive around until you find a pitch" and with everyone turning up at the entry time a 'competition or race' to find the perfect pitch and hence not especially relaxing! This against the C&CC policy of choosing for you, which seems to me a better way of avoiding the "one o'clock Grand Prix". Have I gained the wrong impression of the CAMC arrivals process or any other thoughts?
I personally prefer being able to choose a pitch rather than being told where to pitch. I've never noticed a scramble or race for pitches. Only one van can go in at a time.
I live near Carsington Water so just watched for interest 😊. How do you like your Jackery ? I am thinking of getting the 1000w one or an Eco Flow equivalent ? For use in my Transporter van that tows the caravan …..interested to know your findings.
I will be doing a video on the Jackery soon, with a chance to win one, so watch out for that.
