I live in the heart of gas lamp and I am debating going to a high rise or stay at my current location. This video helped a ton!
If it’s an option, I don’t think you can beat high rise life versus something mid rise or in the Gaslamp. Which high rises are you looking at?
Thanks for the video. I’m a travel nurse who just got a condo rental in the east village…I’m from Nashville so I was wondering where all the cool nightlife was. So far all I’ve experienced is freezing cold, gloomy weather and a shit ton of people on the roads. I’m literally stumped why people love it here versus other Cali cities but again. I need to get out to the nicer areas you mentioned😊
May Gray and June Gloom are a thing. The sun will come out and stay out anytime now. The best months in my opinion are late September and October. I see you posted this 2 weeks ago so hopefully you found some of the nightlife hot spots by now, lots of good options. Not as wild as Nashville but still fun.
@@sandiegoneighborhoodinsider Night and morning clouds along the coast and inland valleys; burning off by about 10:00.
That's not verbatim, but it's close to one of the weather forecasters in San Diego, and what he used to say. Honestly, he could have taped it and just hit "play" every day.
I live in Bankers Hill, it’s a blend urban suburb and downtown living! A shame rent is still going up!
Great honest local info
+John Tesoriero Thanks for watching!
Great job laying out the city. You nailed it-Little Italy has always-hand down-had the best legit food in San Diego and my opinion. I remember when it was mainly locals back in the late 80's, not too many tourists-I suppose that's changed.
Thanks for watching! The 80's! It's so different down here now. The ball park changed east village drastically. 5th is now no cars on the weekends, so many changes!
nice content for someone who want to visit San Diego!
+주형규 thank you for watching 👊🏻
it's funny to me, how the Gas Lamp is such a trendy sought after neighborhood. of course, i am going way back in time to the late 80's. when i lived there, it was cheap, moderately dangerous and a lot of fun.
I know, it's changed so much. Fifth avenue, which is basically a walking only promenade now, is all restaurants, bars, hotels, and a few nightclubs.
Yeah, they had a lot of homeless down in that whole area down there, back in the day.
you should do a video and let people know you switched channel , just found the new channel
Thanks for finding it! I am still working on both channels, just making this one dedicated to living in the city. Trying to grow this organically, that's why I didn't make an announcement. I have more content headed to the other channel, starting this one ate up a ton of time.
Looking into buying a 4plex, would love to connect
Let’s connect! My contact info is in my description. I’ll be on the lookout for a message!
I love San Diego…to visit if you plan on moving here just move to Coronado or don’t move here at all ha. The homeless is fricken terrible in east village
Coronado is an absolute dream location. Thanks for watching!
