Original Post: playback.fm/blog/queen-somebod... By popular demand - another Queen classic. The harmonies are absolute perfection. Look forward to a new artist next week.
I'm pretty sure it is a guitar sound they couldn't get rid of. I can't imagine how a human being could produce such sound with his mouth wide open like his.. Maybe I'm wrong tho.
I love Roger Taylor !!!!! and his high falsettos ... and his husky voice ... and his great drumming skills ... and his face ... I actually mistaken him a girl when I first saw Queen on Bohemian Rhapsody ahahah !! I wonder if he can still do falsetto in his age now ... 60+
Most of the rough voices fastly lost their falsettos, roger's falsetto in 70's is incredibly working and amazing. When the years past he lost his falsetto, Which cause him to sing only.
You can hear freddie's strong low notes at: 2:36, he really was a true baritone with a tenor range. I always liked both his high range and lower range, both powerful.
You have no idea what you are talking about. A baritone with a tenor range? So a tenor. He was holding fricking H4 in chest and hitting D5 in chest with full power, thats nowhere near baritone. Stop spreading this bullshit. Also this low note is a G#2 not very low even for a tenor. Also you just because you are able to hit a low note doesnt mean suddenly you are a baritone. What makes a baritone baritone that he able to project that low note over an orchestra! Not making it barely audible and later turning the volume up in the studio. I am a baritone, with microphone I am able to hit C#2. Does that make me a bass? No. Freddie was a tenor period.
@@vegeta1885 Man you need a cup of tea or something LOL! H isn't even a note. I hope you end up dealing with whatever has made you such a negative person.
Annamaria Conte same lmao😂 not only is he incredibly good looking like come on he’s fuxking gorgeous, but his falsetto is ridiculous (in the best way possible)
I understand that you are delighted with Roger's guitar note, but why nobody appreciates his falsettos in the rest of these wonderful backing vocals? He goes much higher there
Nightrain in those find me somebody to loves just after the 3 minute mark his voice is really clear and high, it’s incredible. Apparently a lot of his singing isn’t even falsetto, it’s just his natural range!
Whenever I hear this I get sort of stunned by the fact that TWO as amazing people as Freddie and Roger could exist at the same time - and find eachother and play in the same band?! Seriously, what are the odds? Talk about one in a million talents, both of them in their own ways. Just crazy.
I would love to hear Queen's "Who Wants to Live Forever" or even another hidden gem, "Let Me Live". Both of those would be amazing, I would imagine. Also, thank you, thank you, thank you for doing these. These are a bright spot to my day.
Crazy how it’s really just Freddie and Roger with the Falsettos sure Brian did help but you can definitely those two are the reason why this song works
So this sounds exactly like the instrumented version - did someone separate these out, or were the vocals recorded separately and then combined with the instruments, or am I wrong in thinking this sounds identical to the "original?"
can't believe Roger Taylor pulled off that note! always thought it was a guitar
I'm pretty sure it is a guitar sound they couldn't get rid of. I can't imagine how a human being could produce such sound with his mouth wide open like his.. Maybe I'm wrong tho.
roger did the high note in bohemian rhapsody
+Wendy Ellington you and Derek are absolutely right and I'm completely wrong
Sorry about that.
I still can't believe it
Rogers high notes on under pressure are amazing too
About which part are you talking about
2:26 Brian may? Red special? NO! it is Roger's ''yeah'' :0

He can..he most definitely can
no he stopped after ‘85 :/

Belibeebo Uririe smoking did that to him mostly
@@stefaniaiancu2075 yeah
2:26 oh no! Roger's swollowed a damn guitar again! Someone, help me get it out.
Ugh🙄there he goes! We need to knock some sense into him
2:26 ughhhhh Roger😩
2:26 Roger Taylor 😍

I mean its not a very low note at all, most males will be able to sing that easily.
it’s crazy both freddie & rog have a 4 octave vocal range and when you mix brian, roger, and freddie’s voices together it’s something extraordinary

People still ask me why roger is my favourite😂

2:26 A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
@@eva-vs1zu Agreed
Ah me too😂
The people loved his hair
2:25 GOOD GRIEF HOW 'S THAT POSSIBLE??!?'?!
2:26 Roger is a Human Guitar 🎸
Without the music, this is amazing. Their voices compliment each other so well, it's scary.
I understand that you are delighted with Roger's guitar note, but why nobody appreciates his falsettos in the rest of these wonderful backing vocals? He goes much higher there

Because they cant hear that out.
Roger is all time heartrob....
Roger's Vocals 👌👌

I’m pretty sure they had almost the same vocal range, too. Crazy!
They ´re all genious. God save Queen
3:32 that explosion made me feel awkward
I love you Roger Taylor 💖
God damn, that man could sing!
I would love to hear Queen's "Who Wants to Live Forever" or even another hidden gem, "Let Me Live". Both of those would be amazing, I would imagine. Also, thank you, thank you, thank you for doing these. These are a bright spot to my day.
I literally love both songs
Ok Pentatonix, you're on the clock...
Please
i pray pentatonix NEVER touches this... they are too inorganic to make this sound good
Listen to the harmony that Brian made at 2:12, that "Someone to love" is delicious!!
Freddie's distortion and compression was epic
Crazy how it’s really just Freddie and Roger with the Falsettos sure Brian did help but you can definitely those two are the reason why this song works
Still would be a hit with the music
Without*
Some scenes of the video are taken from São Paulo 81 show at Morumbi Stadium and at Rock in Rio Festival in1985. I was there in both! Awesome days!

please do Save me from Queen
💜
악기가 필요없네....천재들...
Current "artists" should stop making "music" immediately after listening to this. They would the world a real big favour.
He is missed, music does not touch you like this
2:26 OH FUC-
I think Queen is the only thing in the world that humans didn't do wrong...
It's true tho!
please do "one year of love"guys thx✌
2:26 You're Welcome :)
Do it for Moonlight Shadow of Mike Oldfield
rien que du GRANDIOSE comme tout ce que faisait QUEEN et Freddy Mercury
It's 2019...
Where is that damn time machine?
나도 보렙보다 이 노래가 정성이 훨씬 더 많이 들어간거같어.
대단하다 프레디...화음 코러스가 너무나무 득기좋아.
퀸 노래는 전부 코러스가 들어가서 너무 좋아~~~♥
I need just vocals to hear the music
+soulwinter
2:26 roger fuckin taylor
1:59 Wait, is it me or was there piano?
The piano track is baked into the backing vocals of that part, so it's impossible to remove unless we had access to the master multitracks
So this sounds exactly like the instrumented version - did someone separate these out, or were the vocals recorded separately and then combined with the instruments, or am I wrong in thinking this sounds identical to the "original?"
whats that bass at 1:49? who is doing the bass?
ShittyAnimationTV John deacon
Queen Lover John Deacon didn’t sing backing vocals in the audio only version, but the music video and live versions have him sing backing vocals
