    My 85 gmc truck has a factory setup like that. One day it failed and I got the parts and replaced it all in the parts store parking lot.

      Hell yeah, that’s the way to do it bud lol. I like the external slave cylinders because they are so easy to get to in case something goes wrong. Thanks for commenting and thanks for watching bud.

    Be nice if you posted shots of it completed and functioning. Never seen the pivot ball at the end of the fork.

      Didn’t really think about it. I might see what I can do about making a video on it installed and working. See how well it turns out in the video. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

      Here you go, the first link I sent is the kit for the master cylinder installation kit for 68-69 ford fairlane and Torino’s. The second is the slave cylinder and mounting kit I used. Hope this helps, good luck on your install. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching.

    Can u show how to bleed this slave cylinder? I have the same type for my T5.

      @FastFords289  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Yeah I’ve been planning on making videos on bleeding, and adjusting the clutch and what not but then I always end up forgetting due to the fact I get other videos on my mind I wanna do. Not exactly sure when I’ll get it posted but I can tell you, it’s easy, modern driveline sales a kit. It comes with a syringe and cone shaped gasket to place on the reservoir and a clear rubber line. Open the bleeder valve on the shave cylinder, place the line on the fitting with a loop in the line so the air will stay in the line and not go back into the system. Fill the syringe with brake/clutch fluid and place it in the hole of that cone gasket. Remove the reservoir cap and seal, and also pull back on the clutch pedal to make sure it’s up all the way so no air is trapped in the system. place the cone with syringe on top of reservoir, hold tightly to reservoir and press the syringe firm all the way till it bottoms out. Fluid will come out of the line at the slave cylinder so have a catch can. Afterwords just tighten the bleeder valve and remove line then you should have a nice high firm clutch pedal.
      Hope this helps, good luck, thanks for watching.

    How much movement are you getting at the clutch fork? From resting to fully pushing the clutch peddle?

      Not sure exactly, I’ll have to measure and check for you.
