Why didn't you dive? Did you end your diver career?
Also - if you filming underwater (as you learn during the dive course) - some colours are getting less saturated, especially red colour, so I recommend you to use red filter. There are a lot for GoPro with cost like 5$-10$.

I like your sunglasses! where are they from?
Those are Ampere Dusk sunglasses! They are on the pricier side, but I love their look and the fact that the shades are adjustable.
What did you think of the Ocean Vuong book?
This is one really beautiful video so far. Is this the food poisoning you "got" before your trip to JB? Do remember to bring along some carbon tablet when travelling. I got a bad one while in Koh Samui LOL. Koh Lanta is nice but Aonang offer something different I guess. It depends on who you're with and what mood are you in to say which is a better choice.
