When trying to explain to my mom what you guys do on your channel, I just said "if cats had a workshop and opposable thumbs, they'd basically be doing what these guys do in their videos."
This video really shows that their brains together is just unstoppable. Kaitlyn came through with the oil to get the pencils out and Evan thought of the high pressure to split the pencils apart. They are just a great team!!!

Then they'll become the new hip craze and every classsroom will have to be fitted with sanders so the kids don't need to own like... 300 resin pencils.
Unless the schools are the ones making and selling the pencils and therefore making a huge profit on the extreme pencil sales because every time they need to sharpen their pencil they have to just... buy a new one from the school instead...

@@EvanAndKatelyn in theory, you could use the barrel from a mechanical pencil for the mold and then just salvage the guts, maybe even not the clicker kind but just the ones that rotate with a t-bar attached to the top of the pencil lead threaded into a spring so while it's not the replaceable type of lead per se, it's at least sharpen-able (just twist it down)
If you could make the mold modeling the interior too, crayola makes colored pencils called twistables......

What is the obsession with exams and pencils over the pond? We weren't allowed to write any exam in pencils after 4th grade (we were 10 years old). Because you can't erase biro and it stays better on the paper as graphite can be easily smudged and get illegible. It had to be a biro with blue ink, no gel pen or fountain pen or any other fancy pen. And for important exams you were required to take at least two, in case there's trouble with the ink flow/you accidentally drop it on the floor. Pencil writing weren't taken as official answers but could be used to do drafts.

i actually split my pencil when i left it out in the rain, i was writing with it afterwards and it split in half as i was writing, so i wrapped it in duct tape. you didnt need to know but now you do.
