Long sword is the best weapon in the game fight me.
It's a great weapon but is only mastered by the most extraordinary gentleman
I just hit lvl 110 in ls only 90 lvls left to unlock the bad ass sword. Did just unlock lvl 80 agatha mace skin last night but damn lvl 200 for the aragon sword skin is insane

@seanysalami yeah I like the high lvl skin grinds and even when I have crowns I don't believe in unlocking them until reaching the lvl. I picked a reforged up off the ground last night but nobody on Agatha was over lvl 300 so I'm pretty sure they bought it

Interesting, most people, especially Chiv 2 content creators consider the longsword really meta. But you can also argue that the messer and greatsword are a bit better in team objective.
And depending on the situation I also tend to play more knight, especially when defending or at long sightlines when there are lots of arrows and projectiles. Vanguard I like for just pure offense and agression. I think they nailed the classes and weapons ( mostly right, looking at you dane axe ).
Yeah the balance is pretty great right now
I wish I had longsword on Devastator, I love Vanguard. Every time I play knight I feel so sluggish, but I really love longsword

This one is so fun to defend with equally matched teams but then nothing is worse than getting rolled when youre outmatched

I’m not sure how 40’s are now but they used to be more of a skilled player mode from what I remember! Each player matters a bit more in those lobbies!

long sword is S tier my dude.
it is a jack of all master of none type weapon but that means you can do epic switch ups and play it defensive/counter heavy or throw tons of aggressive pokes and accels. get good at the over head crouch accel and left/right/poke triple feints
It is not S tier in TO no matter what you just want to believe. I'm rank 28 on Chivstats with it I know the weapon inside and out. There are better weapons than it. It's very good but can't compete with some of the top options.

I play a lot of 3v3s FFA/duel servers. I do think the messer edges it in big team fights but you lose ur team heal. 2H mace is great for anti armor duties for sure.
Dane axe is pretty damn strong too.
But man when I am fighting the sweaty chads and I just cant get it going, I have to go to longsword (or 1h mace lol).

@@sonic-bb 80 kill games are very rare. The war axe, greatsword, and heavy mace (if there are a lot of knights)are all going to put up bigger numbers in a public lobby. Those are all on this same subclass

@@seanysalami its fun but if i can do a 180 and at the beginning of my swing hit a guy for 80 is crazy but it is one of the better medieval rp games out there
I feel like it's fun considering there's no other melee slashers as close to as good yet
I'm a fan but you should stop talking badly about archers. Just because they can counter your over aggressive game play, doesn't mean they deserve to be talked down on.
It's not about them killing me it's about them playing a different game than everyone else while also making everyone else's time worse

I play archer sometimes too, but I mean the devs put them in the game sure…but then they also put in the emote “kill the archers”
