Rocks and gravels guard protective film fittings process

The product is a laser cut stone guard film by ORAGUARD.
Required bonding tools:
1. Film squeegee with felt lip
2. Hot air gun (hair dryer)
Wet application:
1. Spray the open adhesive side and the surface Yo be covered with film of low surface tension water ( water+ mild detergent in 200:1 ratio) to ensure quick adhesion of the adhesive.
2. Place the film on the surface to be bonded. The big advantage is that film can be easily positioned at this stage.
3. Press down the film with overlapping wiping movements;
Make sure that water trapped between the base and the adhesive is completely pressed out. If required, gently heat can be applied to the film to help contour/form/stretch the film to the panel shape ( In Particular most bumper kits require thus, due to the different curves in the panel).
Any cloudiness of the adhesive developing after the application usually disappears after 3-5 days, I. E. Once the residual moisture has evaporated and the adhesive has reached its ultimate bond strength.
Important!!!
After completion of the work the vehicle should be kept at the bonding temperature for at least another 24 hours before use.
Wait at least three weeks before treating film-coated surfaces with polishing agents. Only water-based plastic polishes should be used.
Do not clean film-coated vehicles with high pressure cleaners and caustic chemicals.
