It is really good that you do. I know a lot of people who have made a lot from the stock market. But you need to spend a lot of time studying the market if you want to be a pro, or you use a stock advisor who really knows what they are doing.
For real, people underestimate how much they can rake in from the stock market. Started with $127k just before the pandemic hit. The other is to buy when the markets are tanking and in downturns in the economy. View that as a time when you are getting stocks on sale

I’ve travelled the world, made films with different celebrities in it, and I’ve obtained a six figure salary, but none of that helped me feel successful until I started digging deeper and learning what really made me feel the most fulfilled.

Still a better deal than leaving it in a savings or checking account yielding 0-1 percent interest.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyper-inflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
You have to get a financial-advisor/broker to aid you diversify your portfolios to include commodities, inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, as opposed to growth stocks where valuations were based on future potential earnings.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

Many times, successful people don't realize what they did to become successful. Here are some of the qualities which propelled Gates to where he is.
1. Bill Gates was a very hard worker---like working everyday between age 20 and 30 without taking a single day off. Let that sink in. He worked on New year's day, on Christmas, on Thanksgiving, on his birthday, on his parents' wedding anniversary, on July 4th----and everyday in between, consecutively, for at least ten years! This was when kids his age were running around to parties and chasing girls. He once told his employees that working 12 hours a day was "part time", because "they get 12 hours off everyday".
2. Bill Gates was a learner. He liked to read so much that he used to have his "reading vacation", when he would go away, alone for a week each year, with books, for the single purpose of reading and thinking about his business. He was once asked what type of superpower he would like to have. His answer was "to be able to magically know the contents of a book without reading it". He would print out and read the annual budgets of each state, to know where their priorities were for the year! Even now, at his age, the man reads voraciously everyday, and he always finished any book he started reading, no matter how dry and uninteresting the book might turn out to be.
3. Bill Gates is as focused on his goals as a laser. When he sets his mind on a goal, he sticks to it like a stamp sticks to an envelope, until the goal is achieved. Sometimes, we would code so late into the night. When he got tired, he would place his head on the desk to take a nap. As soon as he wakes up a few hours later, he simply continues to code. His work ethic is legendary.
4. Bill Gates was paranoid. He believed that any of his competitors could have upended him in software development at any time, even when he was crushing the competition. This paranoia drove him to work even harder and faster to establish his domination in several areas.
5. Bill Gates lives a simple life. When he bought his first plane, even as a billionaire, he considered it an indulgence. He never let his financial success or market domination go into his head at any time.

We underestimate the fact that banks are corporate entities also governed by greed. Since 2020, the banks have been over-leveraging their assets, which was one of the reasons for SVB's implosion.
