I love when a magic fan says Pokémon is going zero. Magic is legit dying a slow death while almost every kid is playing Pokémon on the switch and playing with Pokémon plushies. What kid is playing magic lol.
I kind of agree with the idea that Pokemon will eventually be less popular. When else in human history have grown men been obsessed with cutie pie little critters? Any other generation of men would be disgusted. The themes of magic (war, power, etc) are much truer representation of humanity and will never not be relevant. (Big disclaimer: not meaning to shit on Pokemon guys, but just to put it into the broadest of perspective)
LOL @ this dudes ranting with nothing to back up his logic.... I am not a Pokemon guy, but I was around when Pokemon first came out.... Here is the number one rule when it comes to COLLECTING. If it has desire, a general "want" and most importantly, nostalgia, then these type of collectible will never "go to zero" and become worthless. Vintage OG comics demand such high amounts of money when comics are the most "mass-produced" type of collectible that exists... Daniel, don't give rando's a pedestal to stand on unless it's for a good laugh.
You have new generations of kids all over the world going into Pokemon. MTG has lost its appeal to most of the new generation and is for the most part supported only by gen x and boomers. MTG will die a slow death way before Pokemon.

This guy has no clue about long term markets. its so easy to say now in a bear market that its all worthless. His whole analysis is his feelings.
There are way more children growing up that are into Pokemon compared to children growing up who are into MTG lol
doesnt seem logical… pokemon should see another huge bump when this generation of kids who are obsessed grow up and have disposable income. as long as its multigenerational, ifs not going anywhere. and i hate pokemon
I’m a huge fan of yours, but this guy honestly doesn’t know what he’s talking about..I believe that Pokemon will take a dip, but never to zero. Trophy cards, first edition, skyridge..all to zero? Definitely not in our lifetime. No logic behind his opinion, he’s just TRYING to throw out big words with no real justification. Thank you for questioning this guy though, but he’s absolutely crazy.

My 6 year old Niece loves Pokemon. A lot of the younger generation loves Pokemon. See no reason that they will go to 0 within the next 50 years minimum.
I cant imagine how there will be museum level mtg pieces and not for Pokemon or Yugioh

Hoover is a going to be one the MTG artists to break out. He has an awesome style and obviously he's not making any more
for a charzard to be 200k when there are several versions of the card is pretty amazing. once the lotos gets re printed and in different art work let see if it holds as well as a the zard.
If that is the case, I would buy all the 1st edition charizards for cheap. Thanks
