Aquaman Lost Kingdom was so good! Loved it. Patrick Wilson was so good too with Jason Momoa! Saw the Movie 4 times!
This had better not be the last Aquaman movie! Omg, I loved, loved this film!! James Wan and the cast truly outdid themselves. Life goes on, and this movie felt like a continuation of the natural progression of the story. I also loved the secondary story about trying to save the planet from the tipping point. I'm going to go and watch this film again and again.
this one may not be the best DC movie, but I really enjoyed his version of the character. he brought an intensity and charisma to it. that got people to respect the character,
Isn't it great to see Jason and Patrick constantly praise each other! They really enjoyed making this film and working together, it's heartwarming to see.

Patrick Wilson lowkey should be the DCU’s Aquaman.
I think they'll want someone younger for longevity but he could definitely be Aquaman. In the first film, he would've been perfect as a traditional comic-book Aquaman. My fan pick for Aquaman is Kellan Lutz but seeing Jason become Lobo and Patrick become Aquaman is a fun switch up for these two that DC fans would appreciate.
I disagree. No one is a better Aquaman than Jason Momoa. Even his Polynesian ethnicity fits!
@@christinemusselman5499 That's cool. Momoa is cool as Aquaman. But I am looking forward to the DC comic book version of Aquaman too. And with James Gunn giving us the new official DCU, hopefully that is exactly what we'll get. And Momoa will be a perfect Lobo. Nobody can be better than him. It's the only character he can do better than Aquaman.
Jason has such an enormous personality that he exhibits love, passion, and fun. Patrick is reserve but genuine and charming. I love the differences in their personalities, and it shows on screen.
This movie was action from start to finish, it was very entertaining., both Jason and Patrick were amazing, both great personalities, be good to see them in more movies together.

Naz is so good at interviewing. I love the construct of the questions and you could tell she really did her research and had her share knowlwdge and passion as well when composing these questions.
This is like, one of the first times i'm sitting down and watching a Jason Momoa interview and he's a lot more than i realized. Despite his intimidating stance, hes incredibly gracious and kind of shy in a sense. Definitely defines a gentle giant aha 😅
If they do end up using Lobo in the DCU at some point, as long as it's not too far off in the distant future, it seems more likely than not that Momoa would be at least on the short list for it. He's practically a walking screentest for the Main Man. Just slap some corpse paint and hair dye on him and there he is, it's very easy to picture. Lots of actors could disappear into the role, but Momoa wouldn't even need to. He just needs to nail all the space slang.
He's the only choice for Lobo. He's just playing coy because he can't flat out say it yet. But there is no doubt he is ALREADY Lobo.
@@talon3684 Only if Lobo is in Superman: Legacy do I see that having already been decided. The way they're operating, I don't see them casting roles far in advance of pre-production on relevant projects. It is possible that Lobo is in Legacy (he was Superman's first or second encounter with a fellow alien in both Man of Tomorrow and American Alien, and similarly turned up only a few episodes into the '90s animated series, so there is precedent for the idea), but I wouldn't give it more than a 50% chance. There's also a chance of Lobo in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow or Lanterns, but those projects are only in development. It's possible, even likely, that the idea has come up, but I don't think anything is official unless the character is in the one movie they're currently casting. Or Creature Commandos, I guess, since that has already been recorded, but I really don't expect Lobo to be in that.
@@Swenglish I do see Lobo going up against Supes eventually for sure. It could be Legacy with the rumored Brainiac, it could be something else. But I think that's inevitable. I'm sure Gunn has already sorted it out on the low.
@@talon3684 Part of me hopes there are no alien bad guys in Legacy. Not that I'll riot if there are, but I think there's something to be said, from a metanarrative standpoint, for the idea of Lex *talking* about an alien threat when there isn't one. Lobo can kind of play both sides a bit, and Brainiac is a machine, so he can touch on different themes, and I think I'd be more fine with either of them than doing the whole Zod thing again, which I kind of think undermines the point of Superman a bit. But I'd personally save either of them for a sequel if it were up to me.
In any case, I don't think Lobo has been officially cast if he isn't in Legacy. That would potentially be over-promising the actor on something that might be subject to change. If the casting has been made, the character is in Legacy. If the character doesn't turn up until later, he hasn't been cast. Just like Batman hasn't been cast and it's still not official whether Gal Gadot will be back as Wonder Woman or not. They might have a list of actors they're thinking about, and that list might be short (it might even be just one name that they feel very confident about), but Gunn has explicitly shot down casting rumors about characters on the basis that there's no script for so-and-so project yet. That indicates they're not doing the premature casting thing. Marvel cast Blade during early development, and that development has been bumpier than they anticipated, with the actor reportedly being very disappointed with the script at one point. There was also the situation with James Gunn himself casting Nathan Fillion as Wonder Man for an easter egg in Guardians 2 that ended up getting cut, and now that role has gone to someone else (and who knows what even happens with that). Gunn doesn't seem to wanna repeat those situations at DC. Expect casting no sooner than pre-production, as a rule. Also think about what happened with Universal's "Dark Universe" announcement. That, if anything, should be a lesson to anyone trying to build a cinematic universe. To get ahead of oneself is a bad idea. Announcing so many projects is risky enough. Casting them would be straight up stupid.
That's why I think the only way Lobo has been cast is if he's in Legacy (or CC, which seems less likely).
@@Swenglish Yeah, Lobo hasn't been cast in Legacy.... yet. Plenty of time for him to be but I don't believe he will be necessary in that film unless it is similar to DC's animated film, Manof Tomorrow. The odds are definitely on Brainiac being the main baddie. It's hard for Supes not to be facing an alien because of his power level. I highly doubt Gal Gadot stays Wonder Woman. For longevity, I think they'll find someone younger and the DC Trinity is totally different at this point. So her chances are very slim. As for everything else, James Gunn does have so much going on right now that I agree, it is in his best interest to dial it back, not get ahead of himself and remain lowkey about his moves. Keep the DC fandom in suspense instead of giving them answers to so many things. And it's smart that he isn't doing premature casting but there's no doubt Momoa is Lobo. That is one casting that isn't going to anyone else.

Though they're all saying this is the end, I DO have a small 5% ounce of hope in the back of my head and heart that it's not. I do hope it’s a hit because so IF it is it’ll send the studio the message that Aquaman does have a strong fanbase as it's own thing besides the DCEU therefore CAN go onward independently in its own Aquaman Cinematic Universe (ACU) with only Aquaman characters stories and cast and bring in new talent to grow cast to keep it moving forward.
We do want a 3rd movie 💕
The Lost Kingdom is heartwarming, amazing and cool.
