Fa'afetai💕 Thank you for representing the Polynesian culture and making us all feel important. It’s an honor having you show the world what we are about.
There isnt 1 single insincere thing about this man that is what makes him so beloved and so full of joy and integrity at such a young age. It's like hes seeing everyone and everything for the first time, and like he's seeing everyone completely equally...no color barriers, no sociofinancial differences, just people, and he treats everyone with such pure kindness and respect. It's such a rarity anymore to see or meet anyone with this truly beautiful a soul.
It's because he's from Hawaii and Hawaiian. It's the way of the land there. Unlike everywhere else where people backstab each other and take advantage. Hawaii is a place where you are taught to treat people how you want to be treated.
Seeing your kids haka with you is so incredibly POWERFUL! Thank you for being such a strong influence for our culture and the family that we all are. Aloha bruddah from Oregon!
SteadyNUnremitting As a South African we adopt our father's cultures. I am father is Xhosa and my mother is Tswana. I identify as Xhosa because of him. So it might be the same with the Polynesian culture too.
Keone Jones That is why I said MIGHT, anyway Lola and Wolf are a quarter African American. Lisa doesn't seem to have a problem with the Polynesian culture taking precedence in her household.
Your amazing. I love how you portray yourself and that you don’t let fame ruin you. You are always yourself and not a facade that Hollywood calls people to use. Thank you for being yourself. You are such an inspiration to me.
What a truly, truly outstanding way to bring the spiritual essence of “group flow” to the whole of our world! THANK YOU POLYNESIA for sharing this inspirational, and intensely uplifting Haka to the whole of humanity at a time when pulling together as ONE is so very needed! Is it right to say “hoʻokahi mau kanaka”? Thank you !!!
The fact that people not of polynesian decent can feel and understand and respect what is happening without having any idea what is being chanted is a testament to the amount of power and energy exuded by the haka. It is one of the most beautiful celebrations in the whole world.
I remember our teacher showed this in class, everyone was either questioning it or in awe but theres me in the back tearing up (only Poly in class). I cant even explain why, pride, love, culture, strength, etc... haka sums it all up.

Ummm Dwayne Johnson and Jason doing the Hakka dance together with the tribe shit that would be the ultimate sight to see. But Jason bro this was powerful.
I remember watching this in my class All my friends were either in aww or confused. (I’m the only Polynesian) My Polynesian ass was sniffing and holding back my tears in the back of the room, leaning back in my chair like I was unaffected but we all knew. They might never know the pride and love we have for fellow Polynesian people. We fight hard and we love even harder. That’s just the Polynesian Way

Thank you Jason so much for sharing that with everyone...I enjoy watching that very much thank you for sharing your heritage , that was so so awesome to watch
I may not be Polynesian by birth, but since I was a child, I've always been close to my islander brothers and sisters. Be it Chamorro, Tahitian, Pinoy to the mighty and proud Kānaka maoli, Hawaiʻi maoli and Samoans and Māori and more. And as ohana we are all one tribe under the sun. I was honored when a lone Māori, preformed his solo Haka as protest to the Dakota pipeline for Standing Rock (which hit home because I am a proud decent of both the mighty tribes of Navajo and Sioux) And to watch him do that, helped me truly understand just how connected we are as a people. Kaikun need, not only are you my spirit animal/guide but like all whom have known struggle, you stand firm in what you believe in. In your teachings and life lessons and I thank you for all that you do. Mahalo with all my heart and soul. Polynesians, Native and adopted will stand by your side and face any and all storms with you.
What a great example you are to young children Jason, or should I say, "Aquaman!"... This is exactly what it means to truly embrace your culture, have true knowledge of exactly who you are and to be so very proud of who you are... I wish everyone would feel this way about themselves (proud and love thyself) and would be a decent example to their own children, but first showing and learning to respect yourself and other people is the most important first step - constant kindness. You are all of this and just such a humble, extremely passionate and incredible man. If you always remain with goodness, who you are... humble, respectful, gracious and grateful and don't let fame ever make your head become too big😀... you will continue to always be blessed and fans will continue to love and support you☺! Jason..., your mother, as a single parent, did an EXCELLENT job raising you! You may not realize how much you are displaying to the world how she raised you, but you are! So I'm very proud of her! And YES! You are definitely one of a kind in Hollywood, because no other actor has ever been so humble, playful, bashful(which is so darn cute😆) and extremely respectful, gracious and kind to everyone, especially to their fans☺. Such a tough business... because fans can make you for years or break you if you are an actor, and sadly most actors head became too big, they no longer show their kindness, their great smile, appreciation and must have forgotten this about Fans! ☺💕 Blessings to you and your family!
If you think you experienced cultures from watching both of those Hollywood productions, you don't know anything. You likely think mall food courts give you a dose of multi-ethnic cultures.
Im South African and our history with our Polynesian brothers and sisters go deep..with sport..and with culture and with life.. it's great to watch people go abroad make an success of themselves and still stay true to who they are and pay homage to their Homeland and culture. Blessings, love and respect from RSA.
As a Black American with Tahitian and Tongan blood it’s so nice to just see cultures all over celebrate each other. We as humans all have core similarities in our cultures and what Momoa said can be applied across all stretches of land... water connects us in both good and bad ways historically but at the end of the day the blood that courses through our veins is just as purposeful and yet free flowing as the oceans themselves
This was so powerful, it made me get up and train harder than I have done in a long time. Thank you Jason and the Polynesian tribe, much love and respect

Love the mix of Hawaiian chanting ? Then into a haka ...the first part had beautiful wording like (my translation🤣)...”my power comes from ...my ancestors ....my mind..my body..my spirit ...its the light within me “ fuuuuuu powerful lol ....the second part I recognized comes from a well known nz haka ! Well done family representing us all on the big stage ! From a Maori of nz ! Chur...tuturu whaka maua kia Tina!
aaah thank you for the translation!! This whole video (I mean most of his videos) I was wishing I could speak Hawaiian so I could understand what they were saying. The culture seems so beautiful, and if every Hawaiian is as loving and caring as Jason is, then I'm definetely learning it so I can move there!! :)
TIINA
What haka did they perform? Do you know?
@@sparkeemelijah1322 the haka thats starts at 2:30 is kapa o pango, before it was a hawian tradition i assume not a haka.
Thanks for translate 🙏🏼 really thanks
Aquaman is a masterpiece from start to end. Polynesians should be very proud of Jason!!
Yup!! I couldn't believe what I was watching, it was just so fucking amazing!!!

Thank you for representing the Polynesian culture and making us all feel important.
It's simply living done right. Women want to be with him and men want to be him. Just a magnificent person.
It's because he's from Hawaii and Hawaiian. It's the way of the land there. Unlike everywhere else where people backstab each other and take advantage. Hawaii is a place where you are taught to treat people how you want to be treated.
It's awesome to see the kids getting involved!!!
Hes such a beautiful man inside and out. Y im a huge fan

Now if you put jason momoa and the Dwayne '' the rock johnson together in a action movie will be epic to the MAX!! 🤩
That would be next level!!!

Don't forget my man Manu Bennett In that movie then it will be dynamite
That would be amazing!
My beautiful home born and raised and still residing! Big island, but you still represent all of us in Hawaii thank you so much Jason !!🙏🙏🙏
Seeing your kids haka with you is so incredibly POWERFUL! Thank you for being such a strong influence for our culture and the family that we all are. Aloha bruddah from Oregon!
I love that he is integrating Wolf and Lola into their culture.
I wonder if they know about their African American heritage too ( their mom is African American). It would make for good balance of cultural identity
SteadyNUnremitting As a South African we adopt our father's cultures. I am father is Xhosa and my mother is Tswana. I identify as Xhosa because of him. So it might be the same with the Polynesian culture too.
he has kids with lenny kravits’ ex wife?
SteadyNUnremitting no this is about Polynesia not Africa.
Keone Jones That is why I said MIGHT, anyway Lola and Wolf are a quarter African American. Lisa doesn't seem to have a problem with the Polynesian culture taking precedence in her household.
The Rock is watching.....he knows he has alot to live up to in the promotion dept when he travels around the world for his King Kamehameha movie.
Or is it Tame'ame'a? Lol
*THIS IS THE PERFECT GUY TO PLAY AQUAMAN*

I'm mexican american ,I love our Polynesian and Island cousins!! We are all connected ❤️❤️❤️.
🤞🏽❤
The fact that people not of polynesian decent can feel and understand and respect what is happening without having any idea what is being chanted is a testament to the amount of power and energy exuded by the haka. It is one of the most beautiful celebrations in the whole world.
This is neither my culture or my tradition, yet I have always found the haka impressive and already a crazy emotion.
He is such a humble hearted man.
Proud of all Polys who make it out tha struggle💯 Polynesia rise up💯
I remember our teacher showed this in class, everyone was either questioning it or in awe but theres me in the back tearing up (only Poly in class). I cant even explain why, pride, love, culture, strength, etc... haka sums it all up.
This is CULTURE at its FINEST! We went to see AQUAMAN and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I have always been a fan of Lisa Bonet and now I'm a fan of Jason. He was so DOPE as AQUAMAN! 💚💛
Jason you are like Man of the Year for me, spreading good vibes and happiness at a time when that is especially needed and important! Long may the Momoa-Mobile roll! Happy Holidays to you and yours! Peace!
Every time I see the haka... I cry. The unity, the energy, the pride in tradition- moves me. Absolutely beautiful. Congratulation on a great movie Jason.
Man I love this guy what a wonderful human. ❤️❤️🌸
Crying because that was beyond beautiful and gave me chills. I’m proud of you Jason, much love to you and your ohana💜

Thank you for paying tribute! You & All the others who constantly represent all small islands connected by water! #Proud #Pride #Polynesian
The Haka dances being done is one of the coolest things to see done it always gives me chills ❤
Ummm Dwayne Johnson and Jason doing the Hakka dance together with the tribe shit that would be the ultimate sight to see. But Jason bro this was powerful.
Wouldn't that be something to see!
Brooo, they would break the world and make it go error 404.
I'm Mexican but I'm down with the Polynesians

We're actually part of the same bloodline the Mongoliod bloodline.
I love and respect the polynesian culture. It is awesome that Jason is carrying it on in the youth and spreading the love.
I remember watching this in my class
All my friends were either in aww or confused.
(I’m the only Polynesian)
My Polynesian ass was sniffing and holding back my tears in the back of the room, leaning back in my chair like I was unaffected but we all knew. They might never know the pride and love we have for fellow Polynesian people. We fight hard and we love even harder. That’s just the Polynesian Way
Proud Maori.. proud kiwi all the way 😝😝❤
Nice but we ain't kiwis cus' we dam natives..kiwis r pakeha
The vibrations are jumping off this video. This is Ancestral spirit live and direct. Our Ancestors deserve this honour. Words are not enuff right now. The power of Culture and Heritage. YASSSSS. I love Hakas. They're truly amazing. And I'm so glad we have a genuine human like him acting today (:
no a big deal, but saying "hakas" is like saying cheeses. Its just the/a haka
This is beautiful! Mr. Momoa teaching his children about his heritage, having them there with him....so profound! Much love.
A true Aquaman, with the true Aqua Race... Polynesians
It was an honor watching them perform that. What a great tradition it must be to have these kinds of ceremonies.
I was so moved by your tears. And the dance. I know you played your role with pride and all your heart and soul. 💗💚💗💚💗💚💗💚💗💚💗💚
Much love!
Isn't celebrating your History a Glorious Thing? Love it!!!
Absolutley loved it, it showed so much love and tradition for Polynesia. Love you Jason💖💖💖🎉🍾🥂💖💖💖

Tears in my eyes.. This is just so pure.. The pride and emotion in this.. Truly beautiful!!! I salute you all from the netherlands
Lol.
