  • As of the start of their mission in Saqqara, Zahi Hawass and his team of Egyptian scientists get the impression that their excavation zone will be extremely rich. After digging over forty shafts, they finally unearth the Grail: dozens of sarcophagi dating from the New Kingdom and the Late Period of Ancient Egypt that will need to be scanned and maybe even opened.
But there are more surprises in store. Inside, the people have been buried with sometimes unexpected secrets. Thanks to forensic science techniques, the team travels back in time and brings to life the people who lived here, in Ancient Egypt, over three thousand years ago.

Just like their belief that saqqara can be excavated but pyramid and sphinx excavations have be banned and blocked for over 60 years.
Saqqara was a tomb, it says so.
Pyramids and sphinx were written as library underground by many ancient writers, but cannot be excavated, why? Wtf and who is in control of these things ffs😢
I’ve been their and many amazing and paying extra money always gets you behind the gates, why we just still guessing and letting these idiots and basically grave robbers write history as they feel reflects their education or position and do not question anything out of place.
Look at the 40000 vases made of stone, one effing piece, all different kinds, even dolomiteand granite, yet me can’t do today with as much precision.
I’ve researched and seen them in person and the so called experts call them water gases, pathetic, these things are an enigma, you have to ultrasound them to see the perfection. Yet these idiots say that even though they only found 40 thousand, which is baffling amount, they call them simple constructions.
The pyramid is closer than any other structure on the earth, even with our technology today 2023 with true north.
It’s placed exactly in the Center of all the earth masses ( continents).
Pretty much way smarter obviously than our present humans. And lasted for thousands of years, from jungle Egypt to desert Egypt.
Hell, which today the earth mostly has become in comparison, modern humans have wrecked the entire globe in less than 200 years since Industrial Revolution.
Research and touch them yourself, anything and everything, and maybe ask a few questions?😂
Who doesn’t question anything? Sheeple that’s who
If you don’t question and blindly agree, you lose all the power in your beliefs when shit hits the fan or doesn’t bend to your imaginary illusion of will.

I think it’s amazing that we have this treasure trove of historical artifacts & incredibly preserved remains to discover & learn about the past from! Anyone who says to leave them be does not appreciate the extraordinary gift the ancient Egyptians unknowingly left for us! We can learn so much about history that we never would have known otherwise. And those who were forgotten millennia ago are now being rediscovered & remembered! I used to want to be cremated when I die, but now I want to be buried in the hopes that someday far into the future, my remains will be found & possibly provide knowledge & insight into this time.

Yet you can sit there and claim the way they’re “handling these priceless artifacts makes you twist”… Do you realize how many of “Priceless Artifacts” would be destroyed by your Hoovering, because they are all mixed into that sand at different levels/layers?
You’re a hypocrite if you actually truly think that. You’d be destroying more than than these professionally trained scientists in 15 minutes, with your “Hoover”. So next time keep your uniformed opinions to yourself and leave the work to the actual professionals who literally trained years for this job. The reasons why they don’t use any vacuum types are numerous. Even a small vacuums my Suction my dislodge paint or pieces of text damaging them . Or it may suction up a fine piece of jewelry.A vacuum hose is cumbersome and maybe dropped . It’s how he got reinstated as an Archaeologist. In fact now that I think about it that’s probably how Waziri “found” the site. Originally Hawass found the site back before he got the boot and covered it back up. I figure he knew his days were numbered and he wanted to use it as his ticket back in 🙄. I don’t know if he knew Waziri would replace him or if he just got lucky on that one, but he definitely hit the jackpot and must have given it over to the guy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do not care for Dr. Hawass. He assumes too much. I do however admire his passion, and his want to return Egyptian antiquities where they belong. In EGYPT. And not for the glory of Egypt, but out of respect of the ancestors they are or represent.

I actually like Zahi. He’s passionate about his history but culturally he comes across as very arrogant. I feel like he wants Egyptians to be more of a part of excavations. It seems to be hard for him to share Egypt with the world. I think that priceless treasures around the world should be returned to their home.

Sooooo he just unsealed a coffin, recklessly using the point of a trowel knocking off 3000 year old gypsum on the floor of the shaft into crumbs, to open it and then shut it and put it back? Whats the point? Hoping maybe some gold in there you could pocket? Disturbing the dead, for what? Didnt learn anything new. Unsealed it for fun and stuck it back like it was nothing. Such a weird practice of popping open coffins of the dead

Some people in countries would rather destroy these artifacts than see them in a 3 billion dollar museum. When they have no food or running water. But this stuff is looked after impeccably. Regardless of their work and sacrifice, they believe remembering their name is also crucial to the after life thing. On the other hand, these are some of the most fascinating discoveries in the world. I'm happy to see them.
