Well this salad spinner is noisier than the hand crank one, and besides this one requires electricity, while the hand crank one doesn't.
How do you take the top off to get the food from the basket
Do you see the gray rectangular area on the side. There is another one on the other side. They snap the top closed and hold it in place.
how do you remove the lid from this slicer spinner?
There two opposing grey snaps that lift up allowing the top to be removed.
