Curious on how you use the BomeBox? Seems like a useful midi tool and usb host :)

ATM just as a midi splitter, but sometimes to reassign certain MIDI CCs to different channels/cc numbers, or even to create macros. It can do so much. It’s a great little problem solver and super light too

Thank you bro! I’m curious about what you program on the torso. I see you adding notes changin pitch on it. Are this planned? Or are you improvising with Euclidean?

Thanks! It’s all improvised. Torso T1 is really helpful for ideas and variations. I don’t always use Euclidean though. Sometimes I just place the notes I want

is there a reason you prefer the Syntakt for the drums, and not the Analog four, or Rytm mk2 i've seen in your other vids.
Also, which machine plays your bass line?
and do you route the audio out in a way that gives you separate mixing control over kicks, bass or synths?
Just trying to understand your decision making. I honestly have a million questions for you, but don't want to overload in one comment.

Sure. Mostly I use Syntakt because it is small. I want to fit in a back pack for touring. Must be carry on size. I also like the machines in it better than in Rytm. A4 is better for synths than drums. It’s only 4 tracks. Syntakt does all my drums, bass, and synths. It is 12 tracks. Within it you have individual control of all tracks

Thanks a lot for the reply, it means a lot. I'm watching your development of your gear, and love that over the years it became more streamlined and compact.
I currently use a Deluge (which I love, doing samples, top synths, and midi sends across instruments) with an MC707 and Moog for my drums and bass. But i don't vibe too much with the MC707 and the Moog (moog is great but limited in it's tones). MC707 really sucks for time stretch and tonal samples.
Do you recommend anything that can take samples, make quality bass tones, and separate aux out. Hopefully doing the job of the MC707 and moog.
Currently looking at the Akai MPC live 2, Maschine, Syntakt (although it has no sample possibilities) and the Rytm mk2 @@AnalogSolmusic
Did you get along with the BlackBox in the end also?
