{Euro 3} Wright Eclipse Urban Volvo B7RLE ZF | Ex-GNW 66923 (MX55GFU) | Full Kickdown from 0-60mph

Here today we have a semi-recent addition to the fleet of Replacement Bus Hire, known as SPV3, formerly known to be located at Go-North West & First Greater Manchester as 66923! This is a Wright Eclipse Urban, pre-facelift with a Volvo B7RLE chassis, Volvo D7C engine as expected for a Euro 3 variant, alongside a 6-Speed ZF Ecomat gearbox, unlike some most older variants with just 5 gears! As titled, it features kickdown from standstill up to 60mph on the dot. Slight gradient whilst in 3rd gear but it handled it easily despite being in limp mode... it was later confirmed but yes this bus was in fact in limp mode and I didn't even know myself! But I can blame the fact I've barely been on B7RLEs generally! You should notice by the "long/stretched" gears, and evidently the cooling fan was also on... but it doesn't take away how powerful it sounds, you can process the shifting a lot better, as well as the diff as the bus goes faster! The sound of the ecomat on this isn't as "involved" or loud as such, mainly heard in 1st Gear unlocked & locked, as well as deceleration from 6th - 5th gear, but in this case, it's just first gear because there ain't no slowing down here! But yeah, all-round a lovely bus and I can't wait to see it make a return in proper form!
