This is Metroline's DE1032, a late 2009 built Enviro 200 on the Dennis Dart 4 chassis. Like most batches in London, this one has a 5-Speed Allison 2100 gearbox with Kickdown enabled as normal. Here it's taken straight from standstill to Top Speed, starting with an incline entry onto the M1 Northbound which slowly levels out gradually. Thanks man, yeah someone will defo preserve one of them! My favourite batch are the SN58 that First Essex have in Basildon, they’re 6-Speed and you can easily get downshifts with them! 🤩

Interesting, always found the Optare tridents to sound much raw in general and i cant explain why. Maybe just the way it is.
Yeah I think the differences lie between the fact it's a not the same bodywork as the Enviro 400, and it might just be different soundproofing/heat protection equipment under the rear seats.
@Frozzles Ah, that makes sense actually. I've driven quite a few Enviro400 bodied examples and they do sound quite "polite" in comparison. Sutton looked after the very well indeed!

I’m trying so hard not to cry at DOE Trident’s kickdowns. Listening to it was very joyful. I’m grateful some DOEs are still in serviced on 151 while the rest are in different operators outside London. Magnificent beauty!
