I was confused by this for a long time. Somewhere along the way, someone confused a 3B bell (used on the K5HLB) and a 3L bell (used on the KA123 for marine applications) so people started calling the K5HLB the K5HLL. When the proper name of the K5HLB was discovered people started referring to the Micro Precision “Raised Letter” (3rd generation) horns as K5HLLs. The K5HLL never existed, the name is a result of confusion.
My favorite horn, has a smooth, calming tone from far away, where as the K5LLA is like AAAHHHHHH!
