MAKKAH JABAL AL NOOR | Hiking the Mountain of Light

Jabal al Noor, Makkahs Mountain of Light, is one of the important places in Islamic history, so don't miss this in Mecca. Just below the mountain top you will find the Cave of Hira, or Ghar e hira Makkah, which is also one of the important places in Islam as it's the place where the first Surah of Qur'an was revealed. The Mountain of Light in Mecca is one of the best places to visit in Mecca and my Mecca guide that documents my Umrah travel showcases what to see in Makkah and explains some of the islamic history.
جبل النور ، جبل منور مكة ، من الأماكن المهمة في التاريخ الإسلامي ، لذلك لا تفوت فرصة زيارة مكة. ستجد أسفل قمة الجبل مغارة حراء ، أو غار حراء مكة ، وهي أيضًا واحدة من الأماكن المهمة في الإسلام لأنها المكان الذي نزلت فيه أول سورة من القرآن. يعد جبل النور في مكة من أفضل الأماكن التي يجب زيارتها في مكة ، ودليل مكة الذي يوثق سفري للعمرة يعرض ما أراه في مكة ويشرح بعضًا من التاريخ الإسلامي.

As'Salamu'Alaikum, been here a month ago... a very interesting & tiring climb and descent...would recommend to go and return when there's day light. It was scary to go down with just mobile torch alone. Especially if you have elderly or children with you. Seems they just opened another way to the Hira Cave...it was in Hindi so I didn't understand.
I do agree abt keeping the place litter free.😇
