Mourning the loss of a newborn this morning and my sister reminded me that it's safe in the arms of God now...and then this song... It's race was short, yet still....God's love reaches...

It's amazing how God allows these amazing men and women to keep on trucking like this. Look at the Goodmans, they lived to their late 70s. AND WAS STILL SINGING THEN!

I wrote Sheltered In The Arms of God on June1, 1970. I had been severely abused by my step-grandfather and was taken to the hospital. I had an anurism and it was unclear if I should sleep or not. I started composing this song in Flemish and fell asleep. When I woke up my brain injury was much improved. My mother translated the song into Englsih.
