    I honestly like the appearance of this car and the color. I still miss the Fiesta, and I am so sad they are discontinuing the Focus though

      It’s a matter of using the same resources to build a car which sells way more and the profit margin is also bigger . I know that the Fiesta was a beloved car , I had a 1997 1.25 Ghia and I loved it , but people want this bigger, taller, better all round cars. It’s legit as a daily car , and better on bigger journeys because manufacturers are upgrading these vehicles as a nice entry to the C segment . Equipment wise these cars have had a huge improvement on the last 10 years and honestly I only find a problem on the prices , but we have to thank electric vehicles for that : they are way too expensive and manufacturers want to make us think they are not that expensive by moving up the internal combustion engine prices. That way people will say : prices are not that different anymore. Thank you European Union !!!

    1:46 You should never leave your car in P park mode and get out. You must always engage the handbrake. The P mode simply applies a thin steel pin that prevents the wheels from spinning and should be applied only after you engage the handbrake.
    The risk here is that the steel pin and using it without the handbrake risks wear and tear. In some scenarios like parking in an angle, it may even break this pin. This will be a pricey damage to fix.
    Always handbrake first and P gear second. Protect your car.

    Getting the new puma in few days wasn’t sure about the sound bar on top dash at first but love the car and the dessert island blue excited now 🎉

    Exactly the spec I chose for me - color, rims , gearbox and engine power. Hope it won’t disappoint me because it’s a company car and it was somehow the best I could get . My current car is way much better so I’m counting on this little Ford with that tiny petrol engine to leave a smile in my face as a daily driver . There are 3 things I prefer on the pre facelift : exhaust is not hidden , there was an option to have front fog lights and the steering wheel looked much better. Is this shape ok ?!

      @DrivingCars  Před měsícem

      not bad for driving. in comfort mode there is no "reply" from front wheels, but in sport mode it's better. exhaust is hidden due to electric version (they said) and fog lights have gone because of the design and LED Matrix lights (but yes, even with car with normal LED lights.. )

    Great video, the POV gives a lot of feedback on how the car feels. Would you say that the new dashboard, kind of blocks the eyeline from the front of the car?

    Is fords’ DCT combined with electric unit a good clutch?

    • @IMAN7THRYLOS
      @IMAN7THRYLOS Před měsícem +1

      I drive the previous version of the Puma with DCT. It is a great 7-speed gearbox. You don’t feel when the gear changes. It drives smoothly.
      Of course in the very long run you can’t know if there will be any problems because nobody had a Puma for more than 5 years.
      Yet it is wet belt that should be better than the failure prone dry belt DCTs that Ford used in the past on Focus and Ecosport.

    • @joaoreis1079
      @joaoreis1079 Před měsícem +2

      I like it, except for the steering wheel . Cars cannot keep the looks they had 10 years ago, otherwise they will lose sales. For every person who dislikes this interior there will be 10 which will see it as an evolution … Get used to it . SUVs and crossovers where absolutely idiotic cars from day 1 : bigger, heavier and pretend to be something they are not . Look at where they are now !!! Even Lamborghini, Porsche and now Ferrari have SUVs!!! There’s no stopping what can’t be stopped 😂
